They just did this to my Dad and he really wanted to believe that it was true he recieved a call yesterday morning they called him back and told him that he would be receiving a new Toyota Camry and a cash prize thru Bank of America. They supplied him with the Bank of America routing number and a check number (wich will not do anything for them, no way to verify the check).  They then told him to go purchase the Green Card for $500.00 to cover the applicable taxes to put the car in their name in Alabama. He was told they would be there today with the car at 2:30 but then at 12:30 they called and said they were in town at the court house and having problems getting the taxes taken care of and he needed to go buy two more cards for $500.00 and meet them at the court house.  At this time I pulled up the number by reverse phone serch and found all of these complaints.  This is a BIG SCAM company and I hope that anyone else that looks up the number and finds these comments will not fall for any of it.  PCH does not work this way. My family deserves a win but NO family deserves to be caught up in a SCAM like this one.

Judith,
I just received a call from the same Rick Jergenson (ext. 341) telling me much the same story as you.  And yes, the same "prize delivery people" Dave Chambers and Amanda Davis were also mentioned.  14 digit reloaded card that you maintain control over in your pocket...yah right.  Thanks for the posting.

My alleged prize was 100K and a brand new Camry to be delivered on a flatbed truck.  Sound familiar?

I had the same thing happen, yesterday, some guy called in using my nickname and said he was calling from Atlantic City but the caller ID listed it as "unknown." I didn't call the number he gave me  718-312-0862 ext 341 to send no money but that I should call to claim my prize.  He said he didn't know what it was.. I also suspected a scam and ignored it.  I had not entered PCH for many years. Today, a woman called me from 718-312-0862, listed on caller ID in Brooklyn, NY. and asked for me using my formal first name, no nickname this time. I refused to confirm and asked her who she was. She insisted and I insisted. The call ended when she hung up.  I have reported the incident under the National Do not call registry but I have no idea what they will do or even if they will do anything.  After the call yesterday, I found WhoCallsMe and saw your e-mail. Thanks for putting it on the website. I think more of us need to to this.

Scam same as listed saying to claim a Publisher's Clearing House prize. Said they were calling from Atlantic City. I knew the area code was not 718 and they said send no money but to call 718-312-0862, ext 341.  I hadn't entered PCH but my husband has. Since they asked for me under my name and I had not entered, I was suspicious and did the reverse look up. Found this is listed to YMAX corporation. No other info available on line. Then I looked up the information on reverse directory and found this is a  total scam.

I got a call from an unavailable phone number.  The caller had my name and address correct.   A lady said I had won something from Publishers Clearinghouse.
She asked if I had gotten their letter last week. (no)   She said I needed to Call 718-312-0862 extension 341 for instructions on delivery of the car I had won.  She gave her name as Elaine Myers.  The claim number she gave me was 01689903425873.
She was difficult to understand and the connection was bad.  It had been years since I had entered a PCH sweepstakes.so I was suspicious and looked up the phone number on the internet.    After reading about this phone number, of course I did not call.  It worries me that they have my address, as it is not listed in the telephone book.    I will not waste my time calling the number.

Elaine Meyers called first. Gave me the 718-312-0862 ext. 341 number to call.
Spoke with Rick Jergensen in claims department. He said that Dave Chambers and Amanda Davis would be coming to my home 7-13-2012 with a new Camry and a check for $250,000. He wanted me to get a 14 digit re-loadable Green Dot Money Pak Card. He said not to put any money on it, just buy the card and they would put the money on it. You have to put a minimum of $ 10.00 when purchasing the card. I called him and told him and he said no, don't do that. He said that they had already set up the presentation for tomorrow and because of time constraints wanted me to go to the Western Union and wire the money. I asked who it was for and he said the IRS. I told him that I lived 20 minutes from the IRS Service Center and I would deliver the money to the IRS personally. He said he would have his manager call me back with the details in about 10 minutes. They are getting very clever. It is easy to see why people fall for this scam. Be very careful!!!!!

My mom received a call on last week stating that they were from publishers clearing house and that she was a prize winner. I called back on today 7/10/12 and found out that they wanted us to put 495.00 on a green dot card and that Amanda Davis (white) not the (black) news reported from channel 5 news and Dave Chambers will be coming to her house on tomorrow to bring her a brand new camry on a flat bed  truck never been driven and we went and got the money and put it on the card but before we got it I started getting a little suspicious about the situation and I started to question it but went ahead a got the card anyway thinking maybe this is for real but when I got home started searching the internet to see if this is true or not now I finds out this is a scam so the money will go back to where it came from and they will never hear from us again and they better not call her in the morning either!

My parents received a call from this number stating they were from Publishers Clearing House and they had won a car..  it is a scam.  Called PCH and they said they would report it to the National Trade Commission.  But, not much can be done to stop this sort of scam according to everyone I have tried to report it to.  By not stopping this, are we saying it is okay to let this continue?  HELP...  what can be done?

this number called my elderly parents and told them to place 295 dollars on a green dot card in order to collect 3 million- obviously a scam to prey on the elderly. If you call the number it goes to a voice mail claiming to be the golden nugget casino and asks you to leave your information.
