Lady calls and leaves several messages and announces herself as "Paul Green" (she has a thick accent, someone from India maybe). She says shes from a financial crime department and threatens that there will be "legal
ramifications" if I don't return her calls. I've never done anything illegal so I just ignored the calls. However, somehow they've gotten my work number and have started calling me at work. I will be contacting the FTC regarding this situation because this is very annoying.

report all #'s you have from them to the homeland sec # 989-497-0580 fill out a report with the FBI call your attorney general check your bank account you may need to file a fraud report with them and get a new account ( I did) the only way to stop this is to get all the info to the proper authorities ..when and if they do call back do not give info or verify any let them know you talked to the FBI and when they ask for ur attorneys # give them the attorney generals # ( they dont call anyway) good luck to you ..for more on this scam look up # 202-629-9693

Received 3 calls in a row from an unavailable phone number.  My boyfriend answered the 3rd call and he said he was Robin Smith, states I took a payday loan out from a city north of where I live for $1300.  He states he is in New Jersey and they are trying to collect on the loan.  I have never taken a loan out from this city or never in this dollar amount.  My boyfriend went off on this guy, told him they were fraud and need to stop calling this number.  The guy stated he had all my personal information and gave my boyfriend the address of the house that I lived in 3 years ago.  The guy said I needed to return the call ASAP before further action is taken.  My boyfriend said he sounded like he was from overseas and the guy said he was half Asian and half American.  These calls need to stop.  I know they are fraud, but how can they be stopped???

A man with a very thick Indian accent who is very hard to understand calls several times a day and leaves messages on my voicemail saying that I have been involved in fraudulent activity and that if I don't call back very bad things will "unfold" on me and only God can help me.  The voice always sounds the same but he identifies himself as Bruce Marshall or Mark Walls of the Financial Crime Department.  When they call there is always a lot of background noise like other ppl talking.

A lady from this # called me and said she was from some crime company and that I was involved in some fraudulent activity but wouldn't send me any information but said she could help me if I wanted to make a payment today over the phone. I have no idea what she's talking about and usually if you owe money to a legitimate comapany, they are going to send you some type of correspondence via the mail.
