I also received two calls from 646-797-5359.  I asked the woman what company it was, and she said something like JC or GE services.  She asked for my phone number, and I gave it to her.  She "looked" it up and said she could not find it.  I asked her what type of company this was, and she answered that she could not provide any info about the company.  She said she would have to have my name.  I would not give her my name.  

This could be a possible scam - for example -  the woman calls, and you're curious, so you return the call.  She asks for your number and you provide it.  Then the woman claims she ran it through her system but cannot find it.  Alternatively, she may ask you for your name.  If you give it, now she knows your name.  She may then ask for your address, etc.  It could be a way to lure someone in.  If she gets you to trust her enough, she may ask for your bank account info.

I would be very careful.  This was a red flag for me and I work in law enforcement.

illegal for collector to call from numbers that do not identify names or company calling you...

JC Services, looking for someone(?), a neighbor or a relative or a business partner... the woman very aggressive calling from various hidden numbers 347, 718 and 646 area codes, unregistered names of different local cell phones and Internet numbers... very much hard to trace. Tactics by Internet-motivated collections harrasser...
Simply illegal to do, report it to FTC and your District Attorney.

i am getting calls at 8 am  asking for an eric schneider. my caller id says "unknown"  i called back with my caller id shut off and they asnswered the phone as "DC Services". i want to know what kind of business this is and why they have my number listed for an eric schneider. they said he gave my name and number as a contact.
