Yes, the have a foreign voice and keeps asking about credit card debts. How can I stop these calls?

Foreign a** hole keeps calling to ask if I have over 10,000.00 in credit card dept; then gets very rude.

This number has been calling me for months. Today I told him again that I wasn't interested and he starting yelling and saying the F word. It really bothers me that I gave him information when he first called. He just can't take a NO. I want to report him to the police for harassment!

I didn't know the number, so didn't answer.  Grateful for that, and for the comments posted.  JFC.

Twice thii morning this phone line called for my son David. He works nights and was asleep. I asked if they had a messageand they rudely hung up.

Same foreign jack*** calls, but doesn't respond after I say "hello" several times.....asks for my by name and then when I question who's calling, the pig hang up.

Somebody with bad English called. I asked to be removed from their list, he said he couldn't do that and this was bu***hit. I hung up.

Call every day and when I answer no one speaks. They call constantly, never leave a message and last time I answered it they did not answer me

I received two calls from "Victor" who said he was from "Nationwide" and I owed X-amount of money.  I asked him (using my version of his accent) how the hell he knew anything about me.  He then went into an irate using offensive language.  I hung up.  I called the number back and I received a recording that it was not a working number.

called and told me Incorrectly my Debt and i asked to be rmoved from his List as pervouisly set up.. i Think he Moaned .....

I received a call from this number and they asked about my financial situation, etc.  I told them I was not interested.  He screamed at me, What are you not interested in?  And I hung up.  He called back and I told him to take my name off his phone list.  He then called back and I had put my answering machine on.  He left this message:  "Stupid, crazy b***h!"  This is disgusting!  I don't even know where to report this to.  It's insulting.

This company has called me 3 times in the last 3 hours.  There are 2 originating numbers:  718-605-5907 and 818-727-9306.  3 different Indian nationals - one female, two male.  Each time they said they were with American Family Credit.  The first 2 times, I told them I was on the do not call list and they hung up immediately.  The 3rd time, I told them to immediately remove my number from their list and never to call me again.  This jerk cursed me with MUCH profanity and I hung up on him.  What a goat rodeo.

about an hour ago i got a call from +8187279306 & the recording asked me to hold, which i did, like an idiot for about 3 or 4 min, then hung up because no one came on. now i got a call from this # (+7186055907). I had researched +8187279306 & it said about the same thing as these posts here, so i did not answer. what does the + mean? i am now assuming that means int'l call? i haven't posted anything on Craig's list for quite some time, but maybe that is the connection? so irritating.

Got a call few minutes ago said hello twice no one replied so I said goodbye and hung up. 2 minutes later they number came up on my caller ID answered and a man was on the other end asked if my credit cards were in good standing. I told him that wasn't any of his buisness and told him to remove me from his calling list, he proceeded to tell me to shut-up and listen to him, as you can guess I told him where he could go and hung-up.

you need call your attorney generals office and your non-emergency phone number of your local police and make an offical complaint. if a threat to life or personal harm is made then state it in the complaint. we must stop people like this with the fullest strength of the law. the phone number comes back to a company in nyc staten island called Specialty Yours 718-605-5907

I got a call from this number too, he called me several times and when I answered I said I was not interested in whatever they were offering, he went balistic and started insulting me, he even said he was going to have me killed.

Is there a way to have these things reported so they can be stopped ?

Aggressive, rude caller who doesn't take no as an answer. Upon refusal to provide personal information, he uses extreme profanities not suitable to repeat here.

I received a call from a guy with Indian accent, identifying himself as a supervisor from "Northstar Financial Services or Group".  Very rude when I pulled him up short and requested he place me on a "Do not call list".  Also found it a joke when I told him I would call my state's Attorney General's office.  I googled Northstar Financial, they have a company in Nevada and in New York. I called back the number and received a message that it is not in service.  It is possibly a call out number only set up via IP for calling in certain zones.  I urge anyone to take the information they have on this guy and report it to their Attorney General.  It is very likely that this is an international level scam.

Same caller today, Could hardly understand him, but think he said he was with Economy Credit, said I had credit card debt over $10,000.00.  I told him no way and and asked why he was calling me since I am on the "Do Not Call" list.  He hung up.  I've been on this "list" for years.  Still receive at least one call a week similar to this one.  Are we paying for this service?  Why have it if it is not enforced?

Guy called 'Rick' called saying I had ove $5000 in credit card debit according to his records.

He caught me right after a very stressful real real. and for the first time, rather than fool with these clowns, i chewed his a** out telling him I dont have ANY credit card debt and that he is a scammer etc! He 'cussed' right back too saying he have someone call me all day long! lol

Some piece of s**t just called me with a solicitation from this number, and when I asked him to remove my phone # from his list, he told me to suck his dick, and then told me to go f*** myself! So, If I ever catch you, or find out who you are...you will be one sorry a** immigrant, wishing you never made that call to me, and begging to be sent back to your country!!!

I just received a call from this same guy.  He asked for my wife but mispronounced her name so I corrected him.  This seemed to annoy him.  I asked him who he was and where he was calling me from.  He told me his company name was Nationwide.  I asked again what ti was regarding and he answered me with a question, "So you are her husband?"  I said yes.  He said, "you have more than ten thousand in credit card debt, right?"  I said, "so this is in regard to some sort of debt consolidation?"  He floundered.  I told him he had 5 seconds to tell me what he wanted from my wife or I was going to hang up the phone.  He said, "F*** You A**hole...got it?"   Can you believe that?  Someone called me and then told me that?  Unbelievable!  I would love to meet this guy.

On August 6, 2009 I received a call from a man with a foreign accent telling me that he see that I have $5000.00 owing from credit cards. The funny thing is that I've never owned one credit card in my life. When I informed him of this he asked if I have ever taken out any loans or have any outstanding hospital bills. I informed him that I've only taken out a student loan which I am current paying on. He says "Okay" and suddenly hangs up. Idiot. I don't appreciate being scammed.

They just called my wife's number.  She didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I hope they call tonight when I can answer the phone.

I just had the same a**hole call me at work(on a Sat)  He tells me hes from a National Debit eliminating company.  I said im not interested.  He gets pissed and say DO YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT? several times I say ok can youtake me off your llist again the a**hole says DO YOU KNOW WHAT I WANT? i'm assuming now that this jerkoff is now a tape recorder. So he hangs up in frustration (I assume) so I try to call back (to ask if actually hung up on me and to give him a piece of my mind).  By adding a 1 in front of the # I call and get a THIS # HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED WITHOUT ANY OTHER INFORMATION msg. If any ones gets ahold of this guy inperson please let me know I would love to say a couple of NICE words to him.

I received this phone that will not stop calling me. I told him to take me off his call list. Before he even said anything I knew who it was, because that number has called 10 times that day I answered and they said they are American Financial Services. We want to help you eliminate debt. I told them I am not interested. They call back a little while later. I'd hang up. I about had it. Then I told him to take me off his list, and then after I got pissed at him, he said I made him pissed told and threatened to have his system call me 25 times a day. Well the number he is calling is my work number, which I think is a problem. then they call me on my cell phone also.

This gentleman with his thick Indian accent called to tell me that owed Consumer Protections over $5000 in credit card debt.  I asked again what company he was calling from.  He said Consumer Protections Collection Agency in NY. Obviously a Scam as I KNOW what I have in debt and what is on my credit report!  Plus NY calls do not have a + in front of their numbers

I said "Oh yeah?  What is your complete address?"

He replied "We're in NY".  

I said "I didn't ask for your city.  I asked for your complete address".

Caller: "117 Shariff NYC, NY 10867. Ma'am  I'm calling to advise you that you owe over $10,000 in credit card debt and I am a collections...."

Me (interupting): "OK sparky.  You said over $5,000...Now its over $10,000?"  

Caller: "Yes ma'am, I meant its over $10,000"

Me: "You're not very good at your job. If you're calling from NY why does my caller ID indicate you are calling internationally."

Caller: "I do not know ma'am.  As I was saying you currently owe over $5000 in credit card debt"

Me:  "Hey Sparky.  Um, did you know that 117 Shariff NYC, NY 10867 is not a real address"

Caller: "Ma'am I assure you it is real address.  Ma'am I am trying to collect the debt on your credit cards over $10,000"

Me: "Uhhh huh.  I know I do not owe $10,000, even $5000 in credit card debt.  I also know 100% what is on my credit report AND I also know that I have life lock and I am reporting you for Fraud to the Federal Trade Commis............."

Awwwwwwwwwwww.  Sparky hung up on me ....Stupid Fraudster.
