Thats weird i got the same call too. I actually went in a found out its a multi billion dollar fortune 500 company. They had many positions available aside for the managerial position. Well being unemployed like i was i really didn't have a choice and the words rent money kept screaming in my head so i gave it a shot.. They gave me a salary position of $105,000 and to think i almost didn't show up to this interview because of these blogs these arrogant people make. Now i realize why the unemployment rate is s high. People actually believe after high school that they want to be a lawyer teacher doctor or whichever when it just a lie and a picture painted over your face since birth. I came from a $25,000 income job i found its just a comfort zone i had. Well im glad I'm not a follower like the guy who posted this blog

So what your saying is you found a blog about the company for which these people clearly haven't evan een hired by the company. Good job Einstein. If you look up stupidity in the dictionary your photo must be next to it. I was given this same phone call from a women stating she was hr regarding a managerial position. I was skeptical about the whole thing until i decided to give the opportunity a shot. Well sure enough i worked my rear end off and have a income worth more than 95% of people in this country. People have negativity that they were spoon fed as a child and have limiting beliefs and thats why i make 350k+ a year and the complaining whining losers are more or less unemployed and blogging about how terrible the world is and how everything's a scam and blah blah blah.. Try being a stock broker on wall street an make a mill to a billion it ain't easy

Glassdoor.com has real info about any company accredited by the bbb better business bureau its a great company to work for until one unemployed disgruntled human being post an add complaining and the rest of unemployed america follows and post there complaints just from viewing internet blogs. Try youtube or an actual social media with the proof in the pudding from current successful employees. But again if being successful and having an income of 250k+ was easy then there wouldn't be poverty or a east new york brookyn!

Wow, I got a call from them last week and set up an interview for tomorrow. Just received another call from this number but no one ever leaves a message on voicemail. Guess I know why now. Anyway I googled the number and now I read all these complaints about this place. Guess I won't be going tomorrow either. Thanks for the updates.

I am one several managing agents from this office. We are recruiting to fill  positions in life and health insurance sales. The office is the Hausman Agency of  National Income Life. WWW.NILIFE.COM.
Do your research. It's a very reputable operation. AIL/NILICO is  rated A+ Superior by AM Best. They are a Fortune 400 Compony, Established since the 1920s. If people call a good opprotunity a fraud , it could be becuse they are not a good fit for the compony or were not able to maintain a position with the agency who hired them.(  maybe sour grapes?) Nilico is reputable. Are you self motivated and personable? Do want to do well for yourself? Are you looking for a well paying position with benifits?  Call 718-663-8152, ask for a interview, tell them you are invited by Avram Pinto.

Prank Call
They actually have changed there number to (914) 920-2672. I'm going to be a no-show for my interview scheduled for tomorrow as well. I received a call from Francene (she sounded like such a woman) to have an interview in the Farmingdale office (200 sherwood ave 2nd floor) She explained that she saw my resume on carrerbuilder.com (seriously considering removing both them & monster, because they allow these things to happen) and that they were seeking managers (my resume is mostly filled with medical experience, but I actually have a little managerial experience in the past, so it wasn't THAT out of the ordinary) I was actually excited (hoping this was my big break) until I started doing research, at 1st it turned up fine because they sound almost identical to representable companies such as (the pappas group, pappas and associates, tmk, theodore pappas) but it's actually teho pappas and nilico and the mark corporation as well as mark glazer that are ALL frauds. They also have an "office" out in flushing Queens so def be on the look out!! I wish you all good luck in your future endeavors, and hopefully no more people fall for this scam!

I sell Life Insurance for a living and based on what I'm reading, it seems that they are trying to get you licensed before you start to sell for the company. It is a general rule that you need a license to sell Insurance before you sell insurance just like you need a license to drive a car before you drive a car or a medical license to practice medicine.. Every company has the same process weather its MetLife, New York Life, etc.. Obtaining an insurance license is not by the company, it is done by the individual since you can use that license for any company once you have it. I have friends that work there and it seems no different then what I go through in my own career. It seems like a rip off to individuals because it is unknown to them since they are a company that doesn't advertise like all the others.

I definitely think its a scam.  I got a phone call from "HR" saying that the hiring manager had found my resume on CareerBuilder and wanted her to reach out to me to see if I was interested in an interview.  When asked about the qualifications of the job, the daily responsibilities, and various other NORMAL questions that a sane individual would want to know about a potential job/interview, the lady in HR literally said "I don't know".  Well, last time I checked, HR is supposed to know what kind of jobs they are placing out in the market...isn't that your job lady?  I pressed for more answers but she simply said that I had to "do my own research online".  UMM?  I asked what role it would be, she replies "a manager", and I reply "that's awfully vague", and she replies "I don't have more information".  She then insists that I go to their webpage and research.  Then she hung up on me.  No goodbye, nothing.

Scam written all over it.

And for the people above who are saying this isn't a scam...it's very obvious that it's the SAME person posting over and over again.  Also, how is making 85k and working weekends a good deal??

Seriously people, use your heads.  None of the big, well-respected financial giants in NYC do their recruiting in this manner... something is definitely off.
