that garden city location is also the location of a storage company called data storage dtst. that is another scam company.

I went into that office to ask a question on something and they said that uer doesn't have space there but uses that address. not sure what the deal is there but it is odd.

someone mentioned that the owner and son of both companies are in it together... I googled the names and found brian trumbino and chuck piluso.

I received a call from Utility Expense Reduction at work. We've been getting calls from different electric suppliers lately, so I knew they are a part of Power Your Way Program with ConEd. The rep asked me if we were interested in a low fixed rate so I said sure and asked for details to be faxed over.  The rate is lower than our current supplier, but our company already has a contract with another company this year, so I told her to call back next year.
Then when I am still speaking, she cuts me off and starts asking me if I know anyone who might be interested in switching their utility supplier!!!
I mean, come on. Obviously these people are paid on commission and desperate for sales, but ask me to get clients? Very unprofessional. Having a rep like that tells me there can be problems if you sign a contract with them.  Hope this info helps someone.

Hey I received multiple calls from this company already. They are claiming that they are part of ConEdison and that they can give me a good rate on my electricity and gas. Unfortunately, I gave they some of my information like my account number, but however, I told them that I am unable to make changes to the account and that they should call me back later. Do you think they will use that information without my permission?

i just receieved a call from the 212 number alex barkan telling me i will be saving 10% on my con ed bill from now on. than she asked for my account information. TOTAL SCAM. on top of it she barely even spoke english!!

I have received a couple of calls from this number 718-665-6565 and 718-333-6565 they never leave a message. The numbers are non working, one of them was a number to a Bronx Podiatrist. There is another number that calls 212-786-4636 (Barkan Alex). I believe these numbers are all tied to one telemarketer every time I block one number they call from another. Some people have received a message about their ConEd  bill I believe that the company behind these calls is Utility Expense Reduction (UER)

Please realize that the calls are not placed directly from this company but through a telemarketing service. You do have a right to inquire with them about the calls you are receiving and if they can verify the calls are coming from the service they are using, they have an obligation to do something about it. By law the telemarketer must provide info. about the service they represent you have the right to op out of these calls These types of calls are not exempt from the DNC law.

I'll bet it's scam. Went to my cell and said it was something about my electric bill from con ed. Got these types of calls before -- they want you to switch companies claiming they will save you money. Total fraud.
