Just hung up the phone with Maggie Nicholson. Called from 347-926-7119. She said she is recruiter. PLease come meet my Manager on Monday at 10:00 when I said this is not the position I am looking for she said "well can you come down and see what this is about" When I said good bye she sounded annoyed and rushed off the phone. I could not catch the name is the insurance company she mentioned when I called back to ask her for the name she did not pick up. Weird?.I don't understand how this scam works.

Same message but my "recruiter" was Maggie Nicholson (spoke broken English as well)  stating, "please to call me at 347-926-7119" and  "Looking forward for a call..."  I googled and found this to be located at the Teleport.  I interviewed there once for a "educational" position (I am a teacher) and found they were telemarketers that would upsell educational programs.  It was a huge, legit company -but just from the tone and tactic of this caller I can't imagine they are professional at all.

I just had the same issue w/ this "Chasee" or whoever.  She called, but there was too much static to understand much of what was being said.  She wanted to set up a time to interview with "the manager."  Has anybody actually went through the interview process?  How do you know it is a scam?  What is the scam?  Why do they interview for a scam?

I been having the worst luck finding a job during this hectic economy crisis and I've graduated in 2010. My mother's been trying to push me to post my resume on monster.com, careerbuilder.com and what not. A few days ago I posted my resume on Monster.com. I posted it on March 18th, 2012 (Sunday) 3a.m. and on March 19th, 2012 (Monday) at 2:41p.m I get a call from a lady. I did not answer due to telemarketers and phone scams when I do not know the incoming number. If they leave a voicemail it seems more legit.

Well in the voicemail it said "Hi ( enter my name here) my name is Chace something from Bankers of (jibberish) in Staten Island and I saw your resume on monster.com. Please call me back at 347-926-7119. I didn't understand what bank she was calling from so I googled it and was ecstatic to tell my parents that someone saw my resume and called me. I couldn't find any banks, but I kept listening to the voicemail to try to figure out which bank it was and realize it was a name called "Banker Conseco," I visit the site before I make the call back to "Chace" (btw I thought it was from Chase bank at first) and she didn't pick up at first, but when she did the second time she said who? I told her my name and she said oh ok, hold on. I said alright and waited. she seemed to be outdoors, but yet was acting if she had access to a work database of my resume and continues to speak. I ask her what the bank name was again and she mumbles "bankers conseco" then I said "what job position" and she says sales & leadership. on bankersconseco.com it states differently. I asked her "what does the job require you to do? I mean I'm curious if the job is way out of my league, anyways she was unable to correspond to my question and said if you are interested we can set up an interview with "him" on Monday at 10a.m. I said alright, let me get back to you sometime this week so I can look up the job careers on bankersconseco.com she said alright and rushed me off the phone as if she was guilty of some sort.

I know the numbers do not match, but it is strange a human resource employee would call me on a 347 number, which is NY cellular area code. You would think to get a 718 call. Regardless I couldn't sleep again and also had another voicemail from another co. and they both were insurance and looked them up and were both scams. I came upon this site and read people speaking of this "Chaysee, Chace" and what not and wanted to give you my input of my experience. I also looked up that it was near the Staten Island Ferry. I just wonder if it is legit still since it is near the Richmond County Supreme Court. I mean how can it be a scam if it's an actual location? I'm hesitant, but I want to look further into this and maybe find the number to the S.I location and call them to see if they have me on record maybe or if they are looking to hire anyone.

On another note it was strange she calls on a Monday and wants me to go in for an interview a week later on Monday? You would think they would tell you when they needed an employee and when we were able to come in for an interview. I also didn't think it was professional in the voicemail when she only said her number once. I'm not experienced enough in a work field and even I know you always mention your name at the end of the voicemail again and repeat your phone number twice so they can have the chance to get a pen and paper to write it down in any case.

The phone call I got was the same person "Chaysee" or whatever, but from a different number beware of the number 347-926-7119.

Same thing with me:  Woman with the worst command of English called me (that is the real red-flag because a legitimate company wouldn't have someone on the phones sounding like a zombie on acid).  She said her name is Chacy.  She arranged for an interview at 36 Richmond Terrace on Staten Island on Monday, June 27, 2011.  I'm to bring my resume with me.  No mention of job description or job requirements.  Going to SI is a bit of a trek so...shouldn't we talk first?!  I didn't want to get to this office only to find that they'll be paying just $9/hr or need someone who has excellent PowerPoint skills (thus, leaving me out of consideration).

Thanks to all of you for keeping others informed.  I just left this supposed office a message telling them what I thought of them wasting my time the way they did, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Note:  Don't put your real name on your Monster.com profile or your address and if you get job offers asking for personal, valuable information (i.e., soc. sec. number, etc.) just tell 'em off.  When you get a real offer from a legitimate company, give them a copy in person of your real résumé and explain why the discrepancy, and they'll understand.

Good luck to all.

I got a call from this number today and i decided to google it and see what it was about.  The name on the caller id was Pnina Lashevski, but from the posts here I see that the company is Consesco so I did a search for that name and got this site http://www.conseco.com/wsc/.  I clicked the career's button and it seems that they do hire people in different states.  I did not call back because I am not interested in selling insurance and I stated on my Monster profile that I would liked to be contacted by email.  If this company is really looking for workers then they should have someone that is a bit more professional making the phone calls because after reading some of the above comments, I see that this is not the case.

I got a call today from a woman whom speaks unclear English and she said something about the monster.com resume. She sounds not professional and rude so I ask her to send me an email and I will call her back. She expect me to call her back with an attitude and I never did but instead google her caller idea number from my phone. It was a scam. Thanks to all your posted message.

I also just received a call from this number and thought it was weird because I could not understand a word the woman was saying.  I thought it was bad reception on my end but then I stepped outside and still could not understand her. The call was just weird overall and the woman calling was unprofessional and only said it was a new company and when I asked what position they were hiring for she said they are a new company again and would keep my resume on file.  At that point I was thoroughly confused and decided to do some research which brought me here and reaffirmed my initial notion that this is some sort of scam.

Yeah I was called to have an interview on Monday too! almost as what you said! To my surprise is that the only thing I apply is in MA, how can it possible to get a call from Staten Island? I couldnt catch a single word from the receptionist! She gave me an address which is "richmond perrace suite 308 10301"..
I tried to call back afterward and it was an answer machine saying something like "JZ company".
thank you for the information!

I also got a call, a girl voice about resume their company saw on monster...I have doubt because if someone is looking to hired, why do they have bad receptions.....calling...and I can't even hear clearly what she is say...then tell me they want to interview me on Monday. I told her I'll think about it and call back. (yea right..I'll just block the damn number). if someone want to hired be, at least be pro, over the phone. ha. I believe it a SCAM TOOO. if you doubt about a call, trust your instant and then google it and find out if its a scam or not. that what I'm doing. thanks everyone here for the information.
