Receiving two calls a day for several days. I don't answer as I don't know who it is. 7:03 PM PST followed at 7:22 PM PST. Very annoying.

your are wrong, you may want to check that information. If I called you, then there was a reason, call me back be glad to discuss, instead of whinning and complaining maybe take a moment to look at yourself and why I was calling. YOU ARE WRONG!!!!

We keep getting calls from this number - no messages left when machine picks up, and when we do answer, we get the "please hold for an important message" recording, so we dutifully hold only to have them hang up when they ask for someone who doesn't live here.  I'd be happy to pass the information they want along to them, but they don't give me a chance!  They just call, and call, and call.... Doesn't matter how often they call, the person they want doesn't live here and never will!!  
I have discovered through searching that this is a land line from New York City Zone 4, NY, and the service provider is Teleport Communications.  I don't know if it's worth a call to them to get the customer to stop with the calls or not...  Oh!  When we try to call back, we get the message that the number is temporarily disconnected!  How can that be??  They called 30 seconds ago??!!!

I got a call from these people, further research seems to indicate that this is a company dealing with Credit Fraud and/or Identity Theft.  They violate both FCC, FTC and many state laws.
I would suggest you report them to the FCC and FTC as I have, I would rather have a federal investigation involved in their actions rather than give them the time of day.
Personally I have put this number in my Contacts under SPAM group and the group ringer set to "no ringer".

I just got a call for this number, they asked for me by name and then told me to hold for an important message, afterwhich I hung up and checked online here, not sure what it is about...

Got a call from them this morning about 9:30. Lady asked for my daughter who no longer lives here. Would not give any informaition to me so I could pass on message to daughter. Think I have delt with these morons befor. They dont seem to like me much as I get REAL RUDE with them. I also did *69 just get a busy signal when I try to call it back.

I just got a call 10-2-07 at 10:15 am, did not leave a message. have no clue who they would like to know. I won't answer the phone if i don't know the area code at least! Charla, thanks for the info.

I live in new england, got a call today 8/32/07 at 4:32 from the number 1-718-775-4867 and got this site in google, the person (?) called but as soon as i hit the green button on my cell it said call ended. tried to call back and go the message of call failed not allowed, the message apeared on my phone the number never connected

Got a call on my landline, (I don't answer numbers I don't know); no message.

August 21,2007. My son had a missed call on his cellphone and kept beeping which is why I checked to see whats going on. 1-718-775-4867 was the missed call, so  just reversed it on 411.com and all it says is that is unpublished or unavailable, and that its a landline from Teleport communications from NY. Anyway, as I was looking online they called his cellphone again, so I picked up, and some rude a** old hag asked if Timothy was there, so I say "no you got the wrong number, how did you get this number", then the bi*** rudely starts states that "its none of your business how I got this number". Then I respond and say, "like hell it is lady this is my sons cellphone" mind you hes only 13. Anyway this rude a** person hung up. There playin with fire is all Ill say...

I also closed a checking account, which is precisely when I started to get these calls.  However, I never used this number for any bank info.

Called twice today.  Got busy signal when I tried to call back.  I have received calls earlier, and I answered them, but it hung up on me everytime I  tried.

This number called me once today, same deal as everyone else.. no message.  I was informed that my information was recently sold to a telemarketing list somehow, something with my checking account being compromised. Thankfully, it was a closed account but all of my information tied to the account was sold to a telemarketing list.  Anyway, I've been getting this type of calls non-stop for the past 2-3 months now on a private unlisted cell number, phone numbers ranging from New York, to Florida, to California numbers.  I look them up on this website every time, and every time it is some type of scam.  The other thing I've noted is that these people tend to target people with not-so-perfect credit or history of financial trouble.

How does a collection agency get a cell phone number that no company has.  That's whats really creepy.

I got a call today at 2:52pm no message from them but i new it was a NY #.

THIS is a collection agency, by law they must ID them selves and the co. from which they are calling from!

everyone should record and report them to the Feds, this is a violation of FDCPA!

I got one at 3:36 pm PST today. I was on the other line so I didnt click over (not knowing the number) but like you all said no message was left.
I was just googling the number to see who it was and found this board.

I just got a call from this number and the man was extremely rude so I decided to do a google search. I found out that this company might be identity theives!!!! Be careful.

This is the # 520-631 5323(in AZ.) of the jerk that called me  not the one that come up on caller ID. good luck and give em hell.

Got call from this number. Get them 2 or 3 times a week. Never a message left.  TX State Law prohibits use of the telephone to harass debtors by calling anonymously or making repeated or continuous calls. Federal law prohibits calls before 8AM or after 9PM, calls at work, etc. If you should owe money or can't meet their "plan of action", then they just bug you and laugh about it. A very sick game. The term "I don't have the money" is not understood. "Just mail me a bill; I'll send you a payment" - another plan that might work too. These are just suggestions for these unprofessional individuals

I got a call at 9:01 pm (cut off time for telemarketers or collections is 9pm). I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message. I looked it up on 411.com and it said it was a number for "Telecommunications Group" in New York.

Call was received at 12:48 PM, they left no message, but there was about 30 seconds of dead air.

I got acall, 10 am 5/31; they said nothing.  I star 69'd for the #, and when I tried later, a message said it was a private #.  Very strange.
