every day i get a call from "THE GROUP" AT 718-872-7179 OR A (347) #. They hang up as I answer

Just received a call from this number, they claimed to be collecting contributions for the police and their families. One thing they mentioned was that these guys put themselves on the line every day. They also mentioned different levels of contributions starting at 500.00, and asked if I was comfortable with any of the amounts.

I have the same issue as well. I called back and a guy picked up and was playing around with his voice on the phone. I cursed him out when I called back again and then I blocked all their numbers.

AM H G calls me everyday and hangs up when I answer the phone. The number isn't always the same. The numbers on my id are 718-872-7179, 347-492-5380, & 347-492-4377. As search of the 347 phone numbers comes up as Cablevision Lightpath, Inc. The 718 phone number comes up as ALLEGIANCE TELECOM, INC.
When I call number back I get a busy signal.
