Jennifer and txdr no I never found out anything concerning why this number showed up instead of my own.  Just happen to think about this and checked the postings. This was the first time I have seen the replies to my post.  Just wondering if y'all mite have found out why this was happening? If so please post, thanks Barry

called saying my computer was sending error messages to micro soft. and needed to remote my computer.
Name was Arick Jonson Id# 988308 phone 786-224-0103. Tried to sell me a licence reacctavation from micro soft.

Got a phone call; no one there.

Got a call from this number today.  I never answer if it isn't a number I know.  Caller ID says
CNC CLAREMONT N

Did you figure out what this is because I am having the same thing happen.  A friend of mine calls me, and this number shows up.  I try calling it back, and it says "we're sorry, all circuits are busy"

Caller ID showed DUNBLANEMARKETI 718-928-7928.  When I answered, it was my brother calling from his cell phone which I believe is verizon.

Did you ever learn anything about this?  I just had the same thing happen only it was my brother calling from his cell phone which I believe is with verizon.

I received this number tonight, 10/11/12 @ 11:38PM. Dublane Marketing was on my called ID. I did not answer.

I just received a call from the same number! At 11:38PM!

Called and rung two times 5:05 Eastern tiime, then they hung up.  ID says, "CNC Clairemont N", whatever that is.

Do you know anyone who is under investigation? I do and I have gotten the same call, It said unknown, but I know someone who travels extensively so thought it may be them on the first call, but when it wasn't answered I knew it wasn't them.I too got message that it's no longer in service. When it called two minutes ago? Also got another one from a 347-642-5871 same day. i think they are going thru phone records and calling everyone on list to ID. Just paranoid maybe? I just wonder.....

I have had several calls from this number, with a caller ID of DUNBLANEMARKETI.  I have never answered, and they have left no message on the answering machine.

I just received a call from 718-928-7928.  The caller ID said Windy Plains, MA.  A female asked for me by my first name.  When I asked "who's calling?" She just hung up.

Just received a call similar to these..# was 718-606-8629..but on the caller I'd it read. Talk 1 on 1..

I believe this number is in reference to Verizon and what they are doing is absolutely SPOOFING!!  I had just received the same phone call.

I just received a phone call like this about 15 minutes ago.  What the hell is this all about and what is going on?  This just doesn't make any sense.

I got a call from this number today and the title says "windy plains, MA"  Not sure what it means and they didn't leave a message.

Just got one today, while we were away. Saw this number on my caller ID

I called my house and my house phone said wendy plains even though i was on the other line whats that about

Rang just twice, no message. I am on the Do Not Call List!

No new info here but just a reminder that the calls are still coming from 718-928-7928 with no return call ability. Even when phone is answered they hang up.
Play the game y'all. Ask questions. Get as much info as you can by spinning the bs rhetoric it back toward them, then we'll have something to go on.

These scammers from Dunblane Marketing called from 718-928-7928, Enter in your Ph, as a blocked number and they can't call.

I've gotten 2  calls from this particular phone number, each saying that I being sued.  Telling me that if I dont call a specified number that the cops will be showing up at my door the next morning.  I could tell from the boiler room chatter in the back ground, that this was probably a scam.  If you are interested in filing a suit against them I would be more than happy to help.

Received call from this #. Said I had won $575.000. in credit card give-a-way. Gave name of Roger Harrisson of Prim Americia to call to setup receive money. # was 202-558-4540 in Washington DC.  Told him I was busy and to have Roger call me. Next day they call back (718-576-6589 Tx. #) wanted $675.00 to send my winnings. Told them to take out of winnings and send me the rest and that they were crooks.

i use verizon but i know i didnt spoof and dont have any idea how to go about spoofing.  could someone have tapped into my phone line and it showed up a different #?  this was very bazzare to me.  if you could help explain i would greatly appreciate it.
