There has been some annoying caller stating that if I didn't give a message to a certain person that I would be held liable for the lawsuit against that person. Some foreign idiot that apparently doesn't know the law of the USA.

I received a call from this umber on 3/28/11 from a guy by the name of David Moore with a heavy Indian accent.  He said the very second I receive this message, I'm to call him back or to have my retained attorney of record to call him back as the situation is very time sensitive.  The number to his "division" is: 1-718-971-5768 and don't disrgard this message anymore.  If I didn't call him back, or my attorney either, the situation will fall back badly on me.  "God bless."  WTF?  This, and any other calls like it, are all scams and I, personally, have been dealing with them since 6/09.  So, PLEASE be very, very carefull out there.  And please, DO NOT call them back.

always the same - calling about legal matter, call them or have my atty call them. If I do not reply I will
have serious problems, and the says God Bless and Good Luck. Who from a collection agency or legal
office even says this. They are relentless in calling and do not give up no matter what. They have now
begun calling my work and I have made arrangements for the calls to be rejected.
Same people are using the #559-399-0358 stating it is a law office same person, same accent going by
name of Michael Lum and Michael Park. Also #212-461-3273 Jack Cook from a law firm.
Am seriously getting a whistle and next time they call am blowing their ears out.

This has been happening 2 me also!! I have been scared out of my mind!! They have my ssn# and address and wk.#!! They will not tell me who i owe money to!! I think when i applied for a pay day loan,and changed my mind,and did not take it..now they are saying that i am going 2 have a lawsuit filed aganist me!!! I don't know what 2 do!!

Yea, they tried to get me to with the same ole lines, They even called my place of employment and threatened my boss. We have got to stop these people. Especially when they leave the threatening messages and your children hear them and start crying. How can people be so sick?

This is all really helpful. I've gotten a few calls from this number and the messages were kinda scary.

I previously received calls from some foreign guy stating the exactly same thing.  I do not recall what name he previously used, however, this time he used Brad Smith. I went to an attorney who happens to be a friend.  He called the number back and stated that he was my legal council, however, no one seemed to know who the individual was that called.  Someone called their bluff and they didn't know what to do.  These people need to be STOPPED!  They are allowed into the USA and this is the stunt that they pull!?!?!?!

I previously received calls regarding the same issue/matter.  The new foreign guys name is Brad Smith (NOT). Very bad connection and the message was left on my work phone.  These people need to be STOPPED!

Yeah this guy keeps calling me too!  First he was calling me from a number listed in california, saying his name was joseph, now he is calling me from a new york number saying his name is walter.  When my mother called him he said his name was anthony.  He thinks his scare tactics will scare some people, but apparently not the people coming to this website to complain about him.  They have a lot of onformation though, including dates and times of old transactions that I used my debit card, my drivers license number, address, social, just about everything.  They are crazy and wont stop calling you. What you have to do is call the FTC, at 877 FTC-HELP.  They will take down all the information and then they will tell you to call the FBI.  They will take down all the information as well, and do the best they can to help you resolve this matter.  The problem with this "company" is that they probably call from pre-paid cell phones so its hard to track them down.  Also, attached is a website that answers all questions that you can possibly have, inclusing if you have the right to sue them....Which you do, and I will ABSOLUTLY be looking into.  Hope this helps!

I have been receiving calls from this number (Jason White). Strong Mid-Eastern accent, said he was from "Legal and General" yeah right. He left messages stated that I or my attorney should call him immediatly or I'll Be arrested for fraud on a loan. I never heard of the payday loan co., but he had alot of my info.I called back and he wanted me to send him money, yet he couldn't give me an account number, address, or telephone number of the supposed company that he was collecting for. Then he told me I was asking to many questions and that I would go to jail If I didnt find a lawyer or send money. Effin'  lame scare tactics!!! I told dude to send the police and arrest me then. He said that i would be picked up "tomorrow". I was like whatev'. He was so stupid. That was weeks ago, now the same dude with a new name is calling again. He's using a different pay day loan co. name and a different amount owed. I researched the supposed withdrawls with the bank, just to double check, there was no record of the incidents... Jerks.
