I got a similar call from 469-562-7832 while the caller ID showed 469-562-7132. I recognized it and gave him a piece of my mind.

I had three calls from this number and left a voice mail that was threatening. They called me back and confirmed with me my phone # and address and identified the self as the Crime Investigative Unit of the State Department. I asked if he was working with the Federal govt. he said "yes". When I asked more questions, he transferred the call to his supervisor. The supervisor identified himself as officer Jason "something". He had an authoritative and threatening tone. He said we have affidavit of three criminal charges:
1. Breaking laws and regulations,
2. Check fraud, and
3. Grand theft.
Now my wife come on line and we became more suspicious, they transferred again to another supervisor Alan "something", and started to threaten that do not talk to a state officer like that. My wife told them that we will call police. He said that he will call police department and dialed some numbers. Now someone else came online from "911" and Alan the fax number which they repeated to be a fax number from police department.
Finally we hung up and called local police department to report this incident, meanwhile these people kept calling us and we did not answer.
Local police department suggested we report this to Federal Trade Commission.

Got a call from this number, Officer Jason Smith claiming that there are 3 criminal investigations pending against my name!! Left me two phone numbers to call. Gave me the numbers to call back as 810 223 0563 and direct number 980 263 2142. When I called the direct number, his name was Cruz and he threatened that I would be arrested today!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ask him if he has any good looking siter I can use. he hang up

I GAT A CALL FROM JASON SMITH THAT SD I OWN TAXES FROM 2012 AND I WILL BE DEPORTED BACK TO MY COUNTRY IF I DONT PAY THE FULL ACCOUNT BAL. MY MOTHER CALL ME AND SAID SOME ONE WAS CALLING ME TO PUT ME IN JAIL, WELL I CALL THEM TO FINE OUT WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM , AN OFFICE FOR THE  IMIGRACION DEPARTMENT SD I WAS GOIN TO BE DEPORTED IF I DONT PAID THE FLL ACCOUNT BAL OF 2900.25 THAT I OWN FOR FEDERAL TAXES. This annoying message need to stop, we got it 2 times and it really bothers me whole day, what should be my actions ?

I had a similar experience. This time it was a lady with thick Chinese accent. Read my experience  below as a separate message.

I called our County police and reported the incidence.

Some one from (718) 989-4664 called me today and stated her name was Stacy Smith and she was calling from Crime Investigation Agency. These shameless people are total pranks, thick Indian accent, American names and threatening tones......I asked for a call back up number and was given 617-272-1501. I called back got an idiot on the other side saying "Hello, this is Crime InvestigationAgency" I asked to speak with Stacy Smith, one consistency got the idiot woman when I asked her about what department is this agency associated with....she sounded confused and said talk to my supervisor. The previous idiot came back on and when I asked the question he hung up in haste.........beware these rascals are not only a COLD CALL inconvenience they may be harmful....please have these roaches crushed before they hurt anyone!!!!

Got a voicemail from Rose Johnson from this number claiming she is from state department and threatening legal proceedings if I don't call back. Callback number 617-272-1501 left in the message.

I had same call yesterday guy name Allan IRs officer asking me you have fedral charges against you and today is last day to settle your case or you have go to jail, this things scare me and I am ready to pay him, He rejected to receive money by credit card or Bank check, he force me to go to Walmart and by Money gift card and I followed up loose $1480.00. I called IRS inform them they  says its fraud.

we got same phone call claiming himeself officer Max wilson and claiming we owe money for irs tax and he said he trying to help me. if we do not pay by debit card or credit card, there is a warrant and you will end up in jail. very scary phone call for my wife and me, but with the firm voice i asked him to send me invoice via email or mail and he refused to send any, advised me to pay first, then he will send invoice via e mail otherwise police will come to your door step and arrest. Please Police or IRS can do anything about this tel # and he was claiming himself officer and his name is Mex Wilson and gave me other number 617 272 1501 from MA. do not give any information to this person

Guy with an Indian Accent called himself Officer Marshall from the state investigation department.. Left a message about some legal action if I don't call back!!! I reported to the police, FBI and FTC!

Omg i hate this number.
it called for my mom, dad and grandpa all in the same week!
he tells me that he has my "arrest warrant" right in front of him
he has an indian accent and NEVER GIVE HIM ANY INFORMATION!!!
ask him for randon, silly questions and then ask him for his badge number
i wish he could just go to...........jail and stay there FOREVER!
dont take him seriously and just dont think about it.... but if he does cal continuously, just call the police.

I got 2 prank call voice messages from this guy called "John Marshall" from the state deptt and said that there
was a legal notice agianst my social security number and if i did not call him back he will press legal action with his legal team. I did not call and just logged in to find out what this number is! He is a complete moron.

I had a voice mail from this number.  The man said he was officer James John or Jones from state investigation department (doesn't exist).  He said he was calling about a legal affidavit and that there were 3 federal cases against me and my identity.  If I didn't call him back he was going to have to open up his own investigation.  He too had a thick accent.  I am not even a resident of New York state.

Don't stress out. I gave him my office address and dared him to show up. Complete scam, he then hung up on me. I don't this nonsense. So I called him back repeatedly asking for his address so I could come find him. Whoever it was got rattled pretty bad - I have some high up connections. I'll find this guy and destroy his life, guaranteed.

This number just called my father saying he owes money to the IRS and hes going to issue an arrest warrant. He told him he had to wire money to him. My father was shaken up by this and had me talk to the guy. He told me his name was Max Wilson but he had an indian accent. I knew immediately that this was some low life sitting at a desk all day scamming money from people. I called his bluff and when he knew he wasn't getting anywhere he hung up. I called back and told him I would pay him but he has to send his mother to my house so I can f*** her. (no joke) He picks up every time so feel free to harrass this a***ole.

Is there anyone you can report this to that will investigate this number

Same thing, getting calls from this number, with Indian accent.  It said James Jordan calling from State Department.  I am now recording these calls for FBI.

I got a call this morning from Allen Parrish saying that my records shows  criminal activity and that they are going to cancel my passport and arrest me.

Caller with a heavy Indian accdent stated that there was an arrest warrant from the State department.  I hung up but he called back and stated that there will be some from the State department will be at my doorstep to artrest me.  He new my address.  I told him any one can get that and I hung up.

Guy called (Indian accent) asked for spouse by name and said there is an arrest warrant out in their name. He called back and when I confronted him on being a fraud he threatened to come to my doorstep to serve the arrest warrant. Reported it to the police department.

I received the same call from Ryan Anderson, with obvious Indian accent, from NY State Investigation Dept, about some case against my wife.  Googled but did not find any state agency with that number.   When I called back, the same person answered, so it is a legitimate number, but I hung up.  Must be a scam.

The number he called is 718-989-4664 and asks to call back for Federl crime. Thick Indian accent.
