PLZ TALK TO ME

(718) 989-9381 this is the number that called me. I have the same story. But called my work as well. Heavy language barriers. BBB says that this is happening a lot lately with this scam in particular. If you have ever gotten a loan online they hack into the database and steal the info. Because these people had my Ssn! And bank account numbers.

I received a call from this guy as well. Same story. Obvious scam.

well folks john smith is at it again just got a phone call from him about something being filed against my social.  haha yea like i'm going to call this guy back.  He can try to use my info it won't do him any good it doesn't do me any good.

I received a call at work from "Eddie Cooper" who claimed that there was a case being filed against me and that I would have to go to court.  He said his company name was Personal Cash Advance.  I asked if I could have his number and call him back as I was trying to complete a task.  I called back and the person who answered never even said the name of the business Just "Hello" with a very heavy accent.  Eddie Cooper has an accent as well.  This is a scam.  Don't buy into it.

I also got a call from this number saying that it was the dept of investigation and a case was filed against my social seq. I didnt call back, instead got online cuz it sounded fishy right off the bat! They also used a diff last name than mine. I was worried but after seeing this im glad i checked in2 it....

I have recd several calles for these idiots. They have actully told me that they have scamed millions of people. So when he called today I let John Smith know that I know that they are a scam and that they have told me they were and that my husband who is a police officer is going to report them, He said ok I am sorry we will no longer call. We will see if that happens. Do not buy into this it is a scam....

These people leave all kinds of threatening messages and the calls are made from several different numbers I have called the police and he said its a scam just hang up. I cant even understand what their saying half of the time. Idiots

I have received the same call from my grandmother's house before I left to run errands and these people called me and said that I had a payday loan from 2007 that i knew nothing about, I argued with them and threaten them by calling my attorney, and also I told them that I want something in writing and they keep telling me that "you will get something in writing either by e-mail in the next 5mins to an hour or by mail" I keep checking my e-mail...nothing, then yesterday I checked my e-mail still nothing. I called my credit card company and put a block on my card so they don't get my money. When someone calls and saying that they're from "fraud investigations" get something in writing and check your account.

I am getting calls from the same ppl.  It is now coming up on my phone as 27 or 404-27. On my voice mail he leaves the number 718 989 9381 saying i owe a payday loan which i have never gotten nor do i want one.

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER HE SAID HIS NAME IS JOHN SMITH HE SAID HE WAS A ATTORNEY WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF FRAUD INVESTIGATION THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT A CASE HAS BEEN FILED AGAINST YOUR  S.S.N. AND FOR THAT YOU NEED TO CALL ME BACK       AT 718 989 9381,,,,, YEAH RIGHT!!!!!

Today & yesterday  I receive a phone call of this number, but when I don't know the numbers who calling me I don't answered, Eddie Cooper leave me a message, telling me, I need to call him RUSH because I have a case in court tomorrow for a "fraud investigation". I search this phone number in and I find with all this calling tricks. Do  not answer and report.and he said its a "lawyer" .  These people have all ..your personal information it's a shame  they call my house everyday cell and home so phone rings constantely ..

It is so funny that a Jason Meade is confirming that these people are not frauds, when a Jason White call me and I waited for him to come to the phone and someone came to the phone and said that Jason was dead! this is crazy .If a company takes you to court you will receive something in the mail, I have not received anything  but calls.

I received calls from the same person, be aware that now a Jason White is calling it's always a different person calling thats crazy, it's also sad because they have done this a lot and some others have giving in to it.

I got a call from this number and he said his name was John Smith, how original. Anyway, he said if I didn't call him back today that charges would be filed in the morning. I called and consulted an attorney and he said that it is fraud and if he calls again to tell him I want in writing the "payday loan" that I received. I need to see where it was deposited in my account. If they can't produce it or don't want to, then tell them not to call me again.

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM THE SAME EDDIE COOPER AND THOUGHT THAT THIS IS A SCAM ,SO I MADE FUN OF THEM BUT WHEN THEY GAVE THEIR PHYSICAL ADDRESS OF NEW YORK I DECIDED TO VISIT THOSE SCAMMERS. I THOGHT THAT THEIR IS NO SUCH DEPARTMENT BUT I SHOCKED WHEN I FOUND IT. IT WAS REAL.INFACT I MET TWO OF THE OFFICERS WILLIAM O'CONNOR AND HENRY AGEE.EDDIE COOPER WAS IN THE COURT SO I MISSED THE CHANCE TO MEET HIM. I SUGGEST ALL DONT TAKE THESE CALLS LIGHTLY................

I received a phone call from this number as well. The man told me his name was Eddie Cooper and that a fraud case will be downloaded in the court tomorrow if I did not pay his firm $400 dollars for an unpaid payday loan. After my first phone call I did a google search of the number which was 718-989-9381 and saw the reports of scams from this number. When Eddie Cooper called back later I casually asked him who the governor of New York was and he wanted me to tell him who the President of New York was LOL. Of course he could not answer the question and he told me that if he is a scam then to come and meet him face to face LOL, Very ridiculous everybody watch out for this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have gotten several phone calls about owing money for a payday loan.  Don't have a  payday loan.  Very heavy accent and says his name was John the first time and Eddie Cooper the next.  Unfortunately, they have a lot of personel information.  Right before leaving work, got a call there from what sounded like the same person but name this time Andrew Thomas and phone number 206-629-9394.  Don't fall for this scam.  They can not arrest you.  Do Not send any money or information.  Ask for something in writing of the "charges" they are filling, and they will tell you that to clear up this matter, you need to fax the last 3 months of checking account statements.  Called a Fraud Line and reported.  Was instructed to just ignore them, but keep an eye on my checking account.  Also having my HR person at work listen to the message so he is aware of them calling me.  Don't want my job in jeporady.  Beware of this one.
