Igot this after doing responses and applications for student financial aid for my daughter, so I think it is related, those comps sold or shared my cell number -- which after done with all college stuff for my daughter -- I will change to a new number. Just don't want to miss legit calls after her college aps and fin aid.

Someone called me from this number today and asked for me by my first name; when I said, "This is she" they hung up.

I called back , got vm with no ID or comp name

Left a message that according to law, this is notification to take my number off their call list and place on their no call list.

If after 30 days they still call they can be fined big

Ditto. They called, failed to leave a message. When I called back, it prompted a voicemail box. Anyone know who they are?

not sure why but, they are trying to contact my minor child.  When they asked for my child I asked them why they wanted to speak to her and they just hung up on me.

Did reverse phone trace and found it is a telemarketer. Called them back to see what they wanted since they called me in the middle of class and got a voicemail box to leave a message for them. Didn't bother leaving a message, but next time they interupt me during class it won't be pretty.
