Just received same type of call from 719-315-0713 on my cell which I NEVER give this # to ANYONE!  Claiming is name is Eric Watson from Attorneys Offices Looking for my dad regarding a fraud suit, Can't wait to see if it continues.  I will notify my local authorities.

First of all I would like to say that this individual was able to get some sensitive information because I was stupid enough to apply for a pay day loan.  I did not really know how a payday loan works.  I just needed money right away until I got an insurance check I was waiting for.  Two weeks after I applied for the pay day loans (which by the way generates your information to tons of creditor) I receive a message from an Eric Watson asking me to call him right away or have my attorney call him because if I didn't, I would suffer the consequences.  He left to voicemails on my cell phone which I do not give out and he also left a vm on my work phone.  I normally do not respond to phone calls from strangers especially those who are threatening me but I was so mad that I decided to see what it was all about.  Eric picked up the phone (and yes he has a foreign accent)and told me that I was involved in a lawsuit.  This was news to me.  So I then asked him who was suing me and who got agitated and would not answer the question so thats when I really got mad and I told him that I don't appreciate strangers calling my cell phone number threatening me about a lawsuit and then not give me any information.  He then screamed at me that investigators and the police would be at my place of employment to arrest me.  I wasn't really concerned about that threat because I work with an Assistant Attorney General so I know how the law works.  What really bothered me was that he knew my name, last 4 digits of my social security number, my cell phone, my work number and my place of employment.  The next day I asked advice from the AAG who told me to contact the local police which I did.  They transferred me to the department that handles online fraud.  When the Officer asked me if I had applied for any loans or credit cards that is when a light bulb went off in my head about the pay day loans.  She said THERE YOU GO.  This is one of the biggest scams going around.  Apparently these people can hack into the creditors that offer you money and get personal information.  She told me to report them to IC3, FCC and FTC.  I have also contacted the Consumer Protection office in my town.  The lesson to be learned here is not to apply for Pay Day Loans, no matter how desperate you are for money.  I hope this complaint helps some unsuspecting victim.  I have since reported Eric Watson to the above-mentioned entities and I hope they arrest this scumbag.

I would like to share "our" expierence with you. The same thing has happened with my daughter. THese HEAVY accent "SCUM BAGS" continues calling my daughter at her home, work, cellphone, and has ALL of her personal information from her DOB, SS number, and her bank account information. Three different numbers has called her from area codes 202,203, and 347. I have googled ALL numbers and its the same SCAM coming from this number. THey have threatened my daughter in many ways. Just to get them to stop making threats (threats towards her family) she paid the $599.00 that they said that she owed. They even gave her a fake confirmation number. This had stopped for about 4 months, and same old story. Now 3 months later, its started all over ONCE AGAIN and these SCUM BAGS are VERY DEMANDING, RUDE, Threatening, and all the above. Please, if you see these numbers come across your phone, DO NOT ANSWER IT, and DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY!!!!!! We to, have contacted our law enforcement!! Hopefully someone can STOP these THIEVES~~

The one guy who talk to me first said his name was Eric then I talk to a Julian Marshall.  I hope someone puts a stop to this it worries me and scares me.

I received a call telling me I had a payday loan unpaid.  I don't remember this told me I would be arrested if I didn't sent they $308 by 4 o'clock yesterday I was scared and sent it.  I got another call from them today want what they said was the remainging balance so I went to my local police department.  An officer called them and told them who he was and where he was and they hung up on him.  They said if I didn't sent the remainder of the money I would be arrested by 9 in the morning.  The officer told me they could not have me arrested if it was a true matter they would have to take me to court to get the money.  I have to tell you I feel like it is a scam but it scares me.  I don't want to be arrested.  If I have a loan out there I don't know about it and they wouldn't give me their companies name or any information about this.  I  have been praying to God to help me with this and get it over with.  so scared.

Got a vm and a message and my work and then they called my brothers phone.  When I returned the call the man with a Indian accent said he had an affadavit to read to me and not to interrupt him while he read it.  When he finished he said he had a few questions to ask me and when I refused and told him to send me the paperwork with the charges to my home address he hung up on me.  I tried several times after that to call them to get more info but the line would not connect.

I have received the same phone call, every day for a week, when I dont anwser my cell, they call my work and threaten me with being arrested, said I have a warrant in California for money laundering, WTH???? I try to talk and he tells me do not interrupt him when he is talking and he said his company is bringing charges against me for something called united loans, and they they are going in front of a supreme court  judge tomorrow and he is so sorry that I am going to jail, and on and on and on. He, also has some type of pakistan accent, I hang up on them and he calls me right back.  I think we should ban together as a group and harrass the heck out of these people LOL

That is identical to what happened to me, Funny how this dirtbag can run his mouth over the phone. If he were face to face talking all this, I would have gone to jail for assault & battery guaranteed,  I heard from him once and once only, and have yet to be arrested or served anything. What a looser! You have nothing to worry about.

I recieved a call today numerous times at my place of employment and cell phone stating I had 3 charges being filed against me and that I was going to be behind bars by tomorrow morning. They wanted my lawyers information. Scarey how threatning they were. Accent and  went by the name of Eric Watson. I have no loans. Contacted my local police department. They also had last 4 digits of my SS # my employer #

I have been getting calls from this man with a very thick language accent, threatening to do a law suit and demanding that I call back, he is also calling my work#. I have already involved the law enforcement in this matter, so anyone that is receiving these calls report it, and let legal take care of it, or sometimes you just might have to handle things yourself, take care of the matter.

If they are a CA company & faking their number to show up as CO, contact the states attorney generals office. You can go online to their website for the CA or CO or the state you are currently living in and file a complaint on them. I got a call a few times from a dude with a Middle Eastern accent, & the dude actually said his name was John Mclain & making the same bs threats.  Didn't know Die Hard quit the cop business to setup a scam to con people out of money! I bet 10 to 1 if you file a complaint with the AG, you won't hear a peep from them again once they contact these frauds!

It is a scam. Ignore their calls, and do not worry about any legal troubles. They are not legitimate.

Got several calls from this number but he calls when I'm at work therefore I can't answer and he leaves threatening messages on my phone saying I need a lawyer does anyone know what this is about?

Ok,  so I return the call from this person who tells me 'there's a lawsuit filed against your social security number' and whatever other garbage he mumbled.  I told him I'm not falling for your BS scam.. he says,  AND LET ME QUOTE THIS " You B*tch, go back to your momma's p*ssy"  I kid you not, that is what this man said to me.  Uh  REALLY??     Un-freakin-believable.

got this phone call this morning, i was threatened  with being arrested  for fraud , the weird thing is i dont have a checking . so i call my local sheriff dept. and they did a NCIC check with my name and dob. and there was nothing nation wide. I then tried to call back and they kept hanging up

Steven Bryant tells me that i'm being sued for money laundering and wire and check fraud. They have alot of my account information and my sisters infromation, along with my IP address. They refused to serve me papers and kept saying "i should know" when i asked when i supposedly took this payday loan that they are saying i didn't repay. They said i've moved and changed my number to "run from this" and if i do it again "i will be found". I applied for a payday loan online recently and i'm guessing this is where they got the information.

Don't worry! This is absolutely a scam. I received the exact same phone messages and calls. I contacted my local police department about the same incident and they informed that I could change my telephone number and/or my cell phone number if the calls persist; I'm hoping they don't.

I received a very threatening phone call from this "Law Firm" today. They threatened to arrest me if I did not pay them $558.59 for a payday loan that I never received. They used the names David Jones and Eric Watson. "David Jones" had my employer's information and last four digits of my SSN. I was floored and decided to call my local police department. After I spoke with my local police department, they reassured me that this was definitely a scam. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! This is a scam! In fact, if you receive this same phone call I urge you to inform your police department so these people can be apprehended!!

Threatening phone call from Pakistani or Indian demanding money from me which I do not owe.
It needs to stop and now and will report to police and legal authorities.

I got a call from the same person today. Steven Bryant at Anderson and Son law offices. What kind of person would have that kind of name w/ that accent? He lefet me a message at home, said he wished me luck for whats about to unfold on me, then called me at work, tells me a lawsuit has been filed against me, and an arrest warrant issued! I know it is a scam, and told him if there is a lawsuit being filed against me, I will wait for a sheriifs deputy to serve me w/ one, not be told over the phone. ABSOLUTLY UNBELIEVABLE!!!. Any how, sensing it was a scam, I hung up on him, and reported him & the phone # to Ic3, and may contact the police department as well. I know I'm good with the law, my bills and such, but it is really un nerving to get these kinds of calls, and so I am a bit concerned about it.

I recieved a call at home and at work today, 719-315-0713...STEVEN BRYANT (mid-east accent -interesting!) told me a lawsuit has been filed against me and a warrant for my arrest also issued. Also wanted my attorneys name, address, ph #. WTH! I have done nothing wrong or illegal, always pay my bills...and this! Clearly it is a scam, as any moron should no that lawsuits aren't announced via a phone call. A sheriffs deputy will show up at your home or work if it is ligit. It is a little concerning that this is happening to alot of other people besides myself. We need to get these REAL dirtbags in jail where they belong. I just reported this to Ic3, so hopefuly this will go away soon.

Yup here they go again.  People who don't speak very good english calling from Anderson Law.  Stephen Bryant left message at my work to call back.  Same phone calls I get periodically and then tell them I know about the scam.  When you call the number you get a voice mail and can't leave a message.

i have no idea who these people are at #719-315-0713. i barely understand what there saying so not americian..they're asking about a family member that owes a loan of some kind i told my family member they told me there some sort of telemarketer scam they call them too asking about someone else that owes a loan. I thank there calling random to scam people or stealing identity or something.. I found out i owe some sort of loan too... The only loan i ever applied for was a student loan & i'm paying if off now so who are these people?

I have received hundreds of phone calls from  Mark Thomas,James Thomas,and David Jones all but one with a foreign accent all saying they worked for the law firm of Anderson and son.The phone numbers are as follows 719-315-0713,and 760-501-0226 when I try to return their calls they cant receive calls I get a recording.Today I received a call threatening jail time for check fraud and money laundering.So I immediately called a lawyer and they told me that it was a scam to try to get money out of me.I then filed a complaint with Ic3 I encourage everybody to do the same.Times are hard enough without pieces of trash like these.

I have received numerous calls from this number, threatening arrest.  This last one is from 719-315-0713, also from 760-501-0226 . This time it was the Law Office of Anderson & Son Law Office.  When I asked them what state they were in, they said California.  Living in Colorado, I know that 719 is a Colorado Springs prefix. Erik Watson was the initial person, transferred me to Kevin Harris, who had a foreign accent.  He threatened arrest tomorrow, will be kind of hard seeing how I am out of the country, very threatening, and since I filed Ch7 and had everything resolved, I have no issues with any debts from my past.

this is something that has been going on for a while now.   Hang up when they call and get in contact with IC3,  (type it in your search bar) they are the FBI for internet,   also  file a complaint with the FCC and FTC.  I want these harrassing calls to stop myself.  Good Luck!

I was advised by a lawyer to contact the Better Business Bureau, F.B.I., State Attorney General, and if need be contact the local police. They are trying to locate these clowns and put them where they belong...help us catch these clowns, so they do not get any money from anyone.

yeah this idiot named Justin somethingorother...whatever the hell he said... its been about 3 weeks since i got a call.. so now i guess we'll get them for the next week or so.. and all the dip-s**** will start calling agian until they can find some poor unsuspecting person to rip off..... not US A-hole

Same here, keep getting threats from these people about a payday loan i never recieved. I keep calling them and bothering them, I'm half tempted to get everyone I know to call them and harrass them and see how they like it. It's gotten to the point where they have harassed my friend and threatened him

I keep getting calls like that now and then.  I got one yesterday where the guy was very threatening.  Said he would kick my a**.  I told him to come to NY and see me face to face.  He called  me a coward but I am not the one hiding behind a phone.  The invitation is still open!
