I don't think so, I almost did too, sent him name, location and has my cell # from the kijiji app, thank god I was smart and realized he was a scam before doing anything with paypal

don't do it, just ignore them or tell them to go away. you should put on the ad, local only, cash only.

well ya I got this guys message, and Im goin to let him know that I wont be doin anything until I have the money transfered into my regular banking account.

This guy just messages me about being at work and wanting a rim. I have 5 rims and 5 tires not a rims. I immediately new it was a scam, but these scammers are pissing me off so I thought I would search up the number.

It is the same person trying to scam me. I am selling a vehicle using Kijiji in the Greater Toronto Area, and it is trying to do the usual scam. Please read:

I'm currently in United Kingdom due to my recent relocation and I'll be needing it here. A shipper will come for the pick up after you get the payment.

Send me more pictures if you have since I can't see this in person. Also send your paypal email account to me so that I can arrange the payment asap."

i had the same thing happen im trying to sell my wedding dress and so far 3 people texted me saying the same bull i now anyone that asks to do it through paypal are a scam as i gone through this when i was looking for a pet the same guy or girl said they had a pomarianion puppy here and bla bla bla thought it was real then i go to a westren union were i had a good friend there she called and found out it was a scam so i was saved before it even started so thank god i didnt do it hurt though but i need to get this dress sold ohh the other one that someone might get is from an email called enrscofield001@gmail.com as i now this is the leader and so on all of them that comes from an email ending in a three number line like martins or this one at gmail .com then you now it is a scam not falling for that bull again

Just got the same message about my posted Kijiji ad - figured it was a scam.

I received this same exact text message and the following email as Sonia's.  I was leery about this as well, but who would think it would be a scam when they want to put money into my PayPal account??  I almost did it, but then thought I should google the phone number and found this site as something just did not feel right.  I love the internet for this kind of thing.
