Calling to sell me insurance.  Fine with what I have, stop calling, and still getting calls.

Fast talking insurance referral service. Any type of interest in auto insurance results in dozens of calls from insurance companies.

I to have GEICO recently switched to GEICO and are now getting these calls. I never got the calls before GEICO. They must sell the information. Person with heavy Indian accent and difficult to understand. Kept getting my name wrong. Go a refs whistle and now blow it lowdly into phone. They usually hang up.

Same thing, they change their numbers but call all day long. I did not get a car insurance quote so I can only figure a 3rd party seller on Amazon.com has gotten my information and selling it. Our phone number is unlisted; I say it's the 3rd pary seller because I have complained to Amazon about "spam"/"spoofing" from companies whom advertise on their site as frauds. My calls started upon said negative review of "fraud" company.

More uneducated Tent Pitchers, that are too lazy to get a REAL job! Losers!

I have been to geico and safe auto for insurance quotes. Maybe these companys are "selling" our phone number. If these ppl would be calling to see if i want insurance they would say the name of the company. I will complain if either one of them call me.

Indian boiler room - also using 17605453860 17144974542 17075084534 today.  Sort of wondering how many originating phone numbers they have.  I filled out two online forms yesterday looking for bids on home construction work.  Lucky me. I block them as they come up - Go Skype!

I started getting these calls shortly after trying to get an online auto insurance quotation from Esurance, first I was harrassed without end by Esurance and then started getting calls from other insurance companies and once those stopped these started I get 3-5 calls a day from Florida, California and Colorado.   Esurance will tell you they don't sell your name but someone there certainly is because it is no coincidence these calls started coming after I got the quote from their site.  What a pain!

I also received a call when I answered this person in the same background noise described below tried to sell me auto insurance.   It is ridiculous

I get numerous calls a day from this number and many others, it is the same company asking about insurance. I have asked them many times in the last 2 weeks to take my number off their list and they just hang up on me.

Harassing calls.  No one on the other end, just a recorded 'goodbye' then click.

They call and hold the phone.  When I answer hello a couple of times, an automated voice says goodbye and hang up.  I received 2 calls with in 2 hours.

They aren't really trying to sell anything they want your Information so they can scam you. It's more likely an identity theft scam then anything. I answered one of the many numbers finally and they start going over my Info with me. Name email whatever they had. for me they had my name and old email correct but completely wrong birthday.  What ever they have wrong they ask you to correct it. They never tell you WHO they are with either. I asked and got just "YOUR insurance company". Watch out for this they have many numbers too 719, 817, 716, 877. Just to name a few area codes they use.

They just keep calling and calling, I do not answer, it is terrible.

I've had 20+ calls from this number.  As soon as I pick up the phone they hang up?  I'm tired of the calls.  How do I make them go away?  Please advise.  Thank you!

this company is a pain in the butt, rude, disrespectfull even when they want to sell something to you.

The number that shows up, '719-426-2336' is from CO...the fellows who call...and call...and call...who sound as though they are in India, say they are in a variety of places...San Diego, CA one time, and today it was, "I am in Florida, and I can not give you my contact information for the safety of our agents."

I have told them at least 6 times, "I am on the national do not call list" "Do NOT call here again..."
To which they answer:
"Angela, please tell me why you would not be wanting to save money on your car insurance?"

I try to be polite, however they will not stop calling!
Has anyone had any success getting them to stop calling?

Just got a call from this number. Very loud room, person with Indian accent. All he said was, "thank you for calling customer service, did we recently try to contact you?" I said yes and they tried to sell me insurance. I told him this was my cell phone, he said he would take me off, but I blocked the caller ID when I made the call, so he was just talking out of his *ss... go figure!

STOP CALLING ME

Pause, then "goodbye".  ??

I don't know why These 3 calls have been made.
