got a recorded message saying that, due to an attempt at fraud, my credit card has been de-activated and I needed to press 'one' if I wanted to reactivate my card. I pressed one, then it asked me to enter my 16 digit credit card number. I laughed, said FU and hung up.

This number along with several others (4218, 4235 and 4209) sounds like a fax when I answer.

Received a call from this # left a message: they are calling in regards to Oregon Department of Commerce...then some stuff about our neglect...not sure what it's about..shows they are in Colorado

The number is a scam. I called it back once and actually got someone. They are trying to get you to take their credit card. Dont answer and never assume there is anythng wrong with your credit cards. If there is.. you call the number on the back of your card...
