According to our answering machine, this number has called several times this week and has not left a message. I note from entries here that this caller has been at it for several years. Wonderful.

CALL AGAIN IDIOT

I received a call from this number on my cell this morning at 10:03AM, since I was talking on another phone I let it go to voicemail. No message. I tried twice to return the call I got a busy signal both times.
No name showed up on the caller ID, just the number.

Yes, I want to report this number as a person who is using their phone for harassment.I've already reported this number to other sites and some regulatory groups. The person using this number is using Qwest. For anyone who has been getting calls that are harrassing from this person at this number, the more people that can complain to Qwest about their phone services, i.e. 719-471-9355 being using for harassment, then that person using 719-471-9355 will suddenly be disconnected from Qwest.

Constantly calls but no message left.

Calls constantly, but there is never anyone there.  Calling back just results in busy.

This Caller (719)471-9355 called my house in Co Springs and never said a thing after I was dumb enough to say "HELLO" three times.

Just go to the national no call list if you are on it, or your state no call list and file a complaint against this phone number. You can receive up to $500 for each call from this number.

Received a call from 719-471-9355, unknown reason, no message. My question is have any of you who had prior calls posted any classifieds or anything including your numbers? I know i posted a listing on craigslist recently including my cell phone number and that could have been my mistake right there.

I too received an "S Clayton" call from 719-471-9355.

got many calls this morning and last week from this number. seeing that i work nights all the calls are coming in at 9am and 12 noon. go figure. as above posted no answer on voicemail.

Missed a call from this number a little while ago.

I think some of the other posters are off base.  This is most likely a spoofed caller ID number they picked out of a hat.  It's easy to do.  That way, you can't identify them to take legal action.  These systems use auto-dial software, and if someone answers they connect to a free "agent".  If there are no agents available you just get the open line.  This Clayton guy is probably just some unfortunate shmuck whose number they picked out of the air to spoof as the caller ID number.

When I get these calls on my cell phone, I add them as a contact and set the ring tone to "none".

This number is from Colorado Springs just like mentioned above. But they are trying to find host families for students. How they got my number I don't know. But this is a little more information for you looking to find out who is calling you and why.

Got a call, no message, no calle ID

Okay, so apparently this is a land line in Colorado Springs. Just got a call from them as well. I went to whitepages.com and it seems the info for who owns this line is available, but not free. So, anybody annoyed enough by them to pay $1.99 to have the information texted to them can go to that website and click on the Reverse Phone tab. Personally, though I'm a very curious person, I'm not $1.99 curious (not for this, anyway). I've also read on other posts that this is a recording that asks for people willing to take in high school foreign exchange students (however, the sheer number of calls, lack of screening for potential homes, and the tendency of the technology to fail by not starting when people answer the phone, leads me to believe that it's a scam). Still no company name to take to the police or the Better Business Bureau, though. Best of luck to everyone!

Complained to Qwest about this number (it's a Qwest number), and the dip in Utah said, "It's a free country, and they can call anyone they want."  I hung up.

Qwest sucks.
