To Ms. Realistic.........I guess you don't read the posts carefully, yes some of them may owe a debt.  But people like you and me don't owe any debts but we still get the calls.....you think you are smarter than all of us and need for you to remind us of our shortcomings?  You must have no one and nothing to do in life.  Why am I here?  Because I wanted to know why this company called ICS calling my moms phone asking for our sister in law?  Ms. Realistic, don't worry I gave the representative my sister in laws phone number and told her to go get her.

Received a call from this "ever so professional" business. They never gave me an opportunity to speak without being rudely interrupted, hung up on me three times and all I wanted was a statement, and was told wasn't gonna happen and that I needed to pay the balance in full by credit card! I told them I could pay monthly payments with a statement and was told that if it wasn't the full balance that that he (supervisor) would sign the check , stamp it and return it to me and would notate my account that I refused to pay!!  On top of that he had the NERVE to tell me to go sit by my disabled husbands a** and hung up on me! I called back for the third time (infuriated at this point) hoping to speak to someone e with some sense.  But no, same rude, disrespectful, idiotic people.  At this point just wanted the address so that I could report them to the BBB and lady said that the only way they except payments was payment in full.  I told the supervisor I know the FDCPA laws since I was in collections for 5 years and what he was saying was not only unlawful but extremely unprofessional.   He called me a liar and said that I must pretentious to be in collections.  BBB gave me the owners phone number but of course is the same and he so happens to be on a month long vacation and the lady refused to tell me when he would be back.  They also refused to take my husbands number out of their system and only have mail correspondence. I am nowhere done with this and any one else shouldn't be either.  Its the only way to stop them!

i got a phone call today and they said that they are coming to my house and i better have my i.d. ready. whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!  this is freaking me out a bit and have no clue who they are or what they want.

ICS called my "new" cell #....I got it (1) week ago today looking for someone else. I tried to explain to the lady on the phone that they had the wrong # and to please remove this # from their calling list.  She proceeded to call me a liar because her caller ID showed the name of the person she was looking for... well duh - like the phone company doesn't make mistakes! I said they may not have updated the info yet. She said " you reap what you fu**ing sow bit**" then she hung up in me!  She better be glad I don't live in Colorado cause I sure would be at that companies front door right now!  The nerve!

I got a call from this number and they hung up before I could answer. I called them back and asked who this was. They asked did I get a call from this number and I said 'Possibly" then he said, "well when you are ready to tell us who you are then we will tell you why." I hung up as he was still talking. I do not have any outstanding debts so I know it was a B.S. call trying to solicit $$ from me.

Good job all that means is it gives them the right to call all of your relatives and job to pass messages... nothing like geting the rest of the world involved in ur problems instead of dealing with your problems like an adult!!

calling me many times looking for someone with the same last name.  I am going to report them to county sheriff.  The caller was informed five times they have the wrong party, yet they are calling over and over again; even using blocked numbers.  This is unlawful and I am filing a complaint at Colorado attorney general office..

I got a call today from Chris Walker from Imperial Credit asking to check a reference on an employee of my company. He asked if he/she had any garnishes taking out, how much money he/she made, hire date. When I went to ask Mr. Walker what this was regarding because I've never had this kind of information needed for a reference check, Mr. Walker said that I could go speak with the employee and they would know what I was talking about. I spoke to my employee as soon as Mr. Walker and I hung up and my employee stated that Mr. Walker had just called him at work threatening him that if he didn't pay this debt that he would have his pay check garnished. My employee has no idea about the debt and when he told Mr. Walker this Mr. Walker was so rude with him and threaten that he better pick the phone up at 4:00 or else I'll have your check garnished. What a sorry excuse of a debt collection company! It's so sad that this company has to lie and threaten people! Be aware of this company!!!!!!

Best way to get these fools back is to call them repeatedly and just start messing with them. Then they will get frustrated and hang up on you. Then you just keep calling back over and over and they go nuts because your screwing with there business and they are loosing commission. You have to have unlimited calling and block your number to do this. There are only a handful of people that work there. Give them back what they give to you. Thats what I am doing today and just bored and having some fun with them today.

It has been YEARS and they keep calling for ROLANDO.  Explained several times that this is not his number and no one know who he is.  One agent suggested WE CHANGE OUR NUMBER.  No way!! WTF do you have to do to get this to stop?

If the consumer had a valid debt the creditor would commence action in municipal court and let the law decide.  These collection agencies must be trying to collect invalid, expired and uncollectable consumer debts.   Our State has a provision for punitive damages on false claims against such tricksters.

This number 719-473-4671 is repeately calling into our company network and either hanging up or playing music on-hold.  I traced the number to some collection agency in Colorado.

That number and agency isn't registered to do business in our State.  We will file a complaint with our State Attorney General if the contact continues.

These people keep calling me - the debt they are trying to collect is not mine- the debt is of an X-boyfriend how they got my number I do not know.
They need to leave me alone.

Got a message from these guys looking for my brother. When I asked for their name and number they got very rude and abusive. Not very polite. Accused me in a loud voice of making threats.... These guys definately need to be shut down!

Actually - half of these people are complaining because they DO NOT owe money. They are being hasseled for someone elses debt.

It cracks me up all of the complaints that you people post but in reality the only reason you're receiving calls is because you aren't responsible enough to pay your bills. If you would just take the time to talk to somebody rather than dodge the situation you might find that they are actually in a position to help you substantially and that not all debt collectors are scum bags that treat you poorly. 9 times out of 10 the poor treatment comes after you've yelled, lied, and acted immaturely. Grow up and pay your bills and you wouldn't be getting calls.

I have received several calls from this company. I do not owe any debts and I get credit checks regularly to ensure that. I didn't have my name on my voice mail and they asked for a Crissy. I told them wrong number and they hung up. A week later I added my name to my voice mail. They called again and I ignored the call. The next day they called again asking for me, but they wouldn't give a last name. They didn't ask for my last name because only my first is on my voice mail. I hung up and they called again the next day. I lied and said my name was Jan. Sure enough the next week they called for Jan. It is a scam and many people have already reported them. Wonder where they get your phone numbers from when "Your suppose to have a private number. Received a call looking for John, hmmmmmmm how many John's are out there? And Asked if I was his wife. When i said no he said well we need to talk to him or his wife, That there told me it had to be a wrong number, cuz he's not married. Or were not yet, lol. Anyway he said have John to call me about a personal business matter, when i asked the gentleman his name him didn't speak clearly, I asked several times. I said well whats the last name of John that you are looking for. He didn't speak that clearly either, So I think its a hoax.....

Just got a call from this number at my job and the guy started saying how he was a third party collector for Kirby Vacuum. I told him I filed a complaint with that company due to idenity theft and he tried to ask me for my SS # and I told him that I was not giving him that information and then he asked for my HR Dept which I don't work for a big company so there is no HR Dept and all calls come thru this office anyway so I will never put them thru to get my personnal information; then he said that he was going to put my name in some employment search to get my job information and he hung up on me. When is someone going to do something about these rude debt collectors? They will do anything to scare you and even if you don't owe anything when someone has stolen your idenity and you filed a complaint.

A gentleman with this company left a voice mail tonight addressing both my husband and me by name. He said he was a mediator but due to some kind of third party privacy law, he couldn't say what he wanted in a message.

The person who called was very rude and I tried telling him that this person does not live in my house he hung up on me. I do not wish to be called for someone that is not living in my house nor do I know this person. I am being harrassed by your company and if it continues I will get the police involved.

I just got a call from this number and the guy was extremally rude and shot the phone on me twice. He said my whole name and said that I was married with someone that I dont know, that I had some address that I dont have and that I bought a mercedes benz that was envolved in a desaster... Im worried because they asked my date of birth and I answered... I called there and a lot of people answered the phone before him. Just happened 10 minutes ago and thats why I came to take a look at the internet... so weird...

I randomly get calls from this number.  When they do leave a message they indicate they are calling from ICS and advise they are calling regarding an important business matter.  They never indicate what business matter it is.  After looking up their info I discovered they are a collection agency.  I have no idea who they may be calling for.  Following a divorce 2 years ago, I have had multiple calls like this one stemming from numerous outstanding debts left by my ex.  I have attempted to obtain more information from them however I've been unsuccessful.  They are now listed on my "blocked numbers" list and are unable to even leave a message.  I LOVE my call blocker app!!!

They have the wrong number and continue to call me daily.  These collectors are VERY rude!  They have no life and no love and take it out on others that owe them nothing!

Every so often this # appears on caller ID.  No one leaves a message...No suggestion as to why they are calling, or who they are trying to reach..I owe no one money so I am not worried.

Keep calling despite my insistance that the debt has been paid.  I have even offered to send "copies" of the paid amount in full but it doesn't seem to sink in to the callers.  They are the fourth collection company trying to recover the same debt that was already paid.  Sending letters to state Attorney General's office with paid in full document's and hopefully they will stop calling.  People are very rude.
