Got a call from 719-623-6593 just a few minutes ago. Since it was local I answered. BIG MISTAKE! The person said their name was Cisto or Cristof (couldn't hear him really well) he asked for someone I don't know, when I told him I didn't know who he was asking for he asked for another person I don't know, when I told him I didn't know that person either he want into a a rage accusing me of lying to either protect XXXXXX or that I was XXXXXX and that I should start looking for a police officr to show up at the house very soon to arrest me for interference in a police investigation. after his little blow up he asked me what I thought, When I told him I would call the local sheriff's office with all the information he requested (a lie, I don't know the people he was asking for) he quickly changed his tune and quickly tried to talk me out of calling any local LEO. When I told him it was too late that I had my son Google the number and found out it was United Recovery Systems out of Houston Texas and they had spoofed a local number he told me to go "F" myself and hung up.

Aug 16, 2013 this phone 719 623 6593 continues to annoy and make robotic calls. By earlier posts this started back in 2009.  (4 years have elapsed) Evidently nothing can be done. I?ll have to change my number.

They called me asking if I'm "so and so," and I simply responded with "what's this about?"  They said it was an attempt at collections, but they refused to to provide any information about who was trying to collect, other than the name of his business.  As I don't have any outstanding debts, I kept trying to get him to reveal the name of the company from who they purchased the debt.  "What's their name?  Where are they located?  Do you have amount?  Ok, how about a description?  What's the date you believe the debt was incurred?"

Sorry, but if someone calls me out of the blue, wanting to confirm my address and other personal information but are unwilling to provide anything in return, the only thing I'm going to tell them is "Good-bye, do not call again, I'm reporting you to the authorities."

They claimed to be with the DA's office in Denver!!! Called asking for someone that doesn't even live here. They keep calling and hanging up... DA? I don't think so >:-(

That is funny because I worked out a plan with them too.. $2000.00 up front and monthly payments of $100.00 which I have done for the past 6 months they still call me 2 and 3 times a day 7 days a week. TOTAL HARRASSMENT AND UNCALLED FOR.  I could see if I have missed a payment but my payments are even early every month it is RIDICULIOUS!!!!!

Rec'd call asking if "Manual" lived at this residence.  Said, "No," and caller hung up

Caller named Christo? with URS Houston, TX asking for someone else with the same last-name, did I know of/was I related to/etc. When I said no, he said he'd remove my name from their records.

Keeps calling, but leaves no message.

I have been working with them for about a year and have found them easy to work with and polite regarding my Bank of America card.  Interest was waived and I am making monthly payments.  I have had no difficulties with them.

This is United Recovery Systems out of Texas. They are VERY rude and call repeatedly, even after they have supposedly turned your account over to an attorney after less than a month. They even had the balls to call a friend with an unlisted number and hassle her. When I spoke with them about it they said that they could do that cause they have databases that allows them access to everyone's info!!

This is a debt collection recovery agency who is violating the law.  I owe no debts at all period paid everything off a year ago when I retired (no late pays either).  Somehow they are getting unpublished cell phone #'s and calling.  Veryb Rude, snotty, and love to harras people.

File complaint with the do not call registry people stop these uncouth, rude and illegal callers!

United Recovery Systems debt collection from Houston TX.  How they got a 719 area code unknown. Called me to check on my neighbor.  Told them to take a hike and I filed a complaint with the FTC on-line...total B.S.

Called and asked for earl. Said didn't know and then hung up.

Doing a search it seems to be United Recovery Systems debt collection agency.

They called me this morning asking for someone up the street and asked me to go over there to get them.

I told them to screw off and I was not a patsy.
Looks like I was right, someone up to no good.

Called asking for me, then when asked for a message by wife they stated they were trying to reach someone neither of us know.  More than likely a bill collector with bad info...

Called today asking if I was related to someone named Chris Stafford.  I told them no.  They asked, "So, you don't anyone by that name?"  When I said no again, she just hung up on me.
