I get calls every day some times two and three from all over the map and when I answer there is no one there.  From now on I only answer call I know and figure if it is important they will leave a message telling me what their call is about.

Yup---Just rec'd the call @1:08PM, EST, 4-29-13, Cocoa Bch, FL---.I didn't answer in time so I called back to an "out-of-service number"---Looks like same shtuff, different day.
Re the guy above whom actually got it to ring---this would make me think they have an answering machine on it; because the telephone company would not answer in this fashion to begin with, i.e., if it's an out-of-service number, how did they call you/me?.
Regarding the location reported as Century Tel of Eagle, Cheyenne Wells, CO, how did you learn this?
Now, on the other hand, why is this internet thread going on? Who is paying any attention to what I am telling you here? Who is listening? Is someone/anyone trying to do something about this? CALL THE CARRIER AND FILE COMPLAINT The phone numbers that I was able to locate for the carrier are 318-388-9000 there is another 1-800-833-1188

Thanks for the "add to reject list" tip.  Just press hold the number, touch the reject # option on my Note 2 from Samsung.

Yesterday my debit card was used fraudulently in Littleton Colorado. Today I got a phone calls from this number which is an area code from Littleton Colorado. Coincidence? It only once or twice so I missed the call, tried to call back and it was "out of service"

This number just called my cell phone that I can never get to and answer.  No voice message left.  I knew by the 1000 at the end it must be telemarketing firm.   I appreciate all the other posts.  This helps everyone.

This number keeps calling to offer reduced interest rate on a credit card.  I NEVER have a balance on any of my cards.  When I pressed 1 to talk to a rep and told them to quit calling me, they hung up on me.  They are still calling.  I will be calling my cell phone service to find out what I can do to block this number.

I have no credit cards and I got a call from this number.  It was a recorded female voice saying my current credit card account is eligible for a lowered interest rate... press 1 to speak to a live representative.  I pressed 1 to find out more but the call was ended by them.

Whatever happened to the "Do Not Call" List?  Missed call on my work cell.  No message. Called back.  "This number has been disconnected" message on the other end.  Annoying...

just received this call as well. no one spoke, silent background. maybe they were spooked after hearing police radios. lol lol.

They called a Maryland cell phone in the middle of a work afternoon, and my number is generally on lists to be excluded from telemarketing and spam calling. Ignored the call. They did not leave a message.

Just like most of the people on here, I had a missed call from this number. However, unlike most of the people here, when I called the number back (I have friends that live out of state, thought it could have possibly been one of them calling from a land line or something), it actually rang. And rang. And rang. For a minute straight I let it ring. After reading these, though, I'm glad no one answered. What a waste of people's time.

Another annoying call from "Cardmember Services". When you finally get in touch with a human, they want all your personal information but can't tell you which credit card company they're with or anything about you.
