got a call from this number while I was asleep, work third shift and use my cell for an alarm. Picked up, listened to a sales woman, told her to leave me alone. 20 minutes later, I recieve over 20 phone calls all minutes apart from insurance companies, collages, ect. I am on the national do not call list, and I still get at least 5 calls from salesmen a day now with no end in sight. Every time I ask the salesmen where they got this intel, they almost always tell me someone went to their site and entered it manually. 411 traced the number to somewhere in Phoenix, AZ but the 411 guy I was talking to said he could not get a pin point the trace, he said that should be easily possible for him, never saw that before in his life, he said. Also, one insure guy said he got my intel from a place called Quote Rocket.

This could be only a telemarketer trying to sell insurance. However, it could be much sinister; imagine what crooks can do with all that personal information.
I know what I want to buy, I usually know what I need to buy.
I get d@mned tired of sleezeballs trying to sell me things that I don't need, don't want or won't use.
My only problem with these calls is that my telephone call blocking service isn't adequate to block all of them.

I received a phone call today from this number. He asked for me. He said that he is calling, because I called them and was interested in car insurance and he is calling me back with a quote. I said no I didn't who is this. He said some made up name. I said I never heard of you and take me off your list. He said sorry and goodbye. Then 3 hours later he called back and my husband answered. He asked my husband if I was there. My husband said, who is this. The guy asked him if I wanted car insurance. Scary, because he called my cell and he knew my name. UGH! This is a Denver, CO number that called.

Some female called making threats and saying they're going to physically hurt me and my family.
| TangoPapa 2011-09-30 23:37:32 Unknown |
Recieved a call on my CELL at 6:18pm DST in NC; from a Male voice (20s - 30s) who correctly identifed me by name (that was scary) and asked if I had asked for a insurance quote for a 2007 Lexus. When advised him it wasn't this (my name) he apollogized and hung up. I returned the call and got a voice greeting in a female voice identified as April Romero and to leave a message but the mailbox is full. I understand that voice mail platforms can be 'hacked' and used by unscrupulous people in fraud and identity theft cases. I am advising my identity theft protection folks and recommend that all do the same.

Caller said he wanted to verify info about car insurance. I asked why, he replied it was about what I saw on the internet. I have not been shopping for car insurance.

That's nice...BUT, I, personally, don't want to be bothered with calls from strange numbers trying to sell me things, especially those attempting to acquire personal information via the phone.
I asked the lady (of middle-eastern descent, and that is strictly a guess based on my travels) politely to remove my name from the database/call list and to not ever call me again. She was not rude, nor was she discourteous, however she was persistent. That is a nice quality to have as a salesperson, but I, along with millions of others, aren't interested in this type of solicitation.
The number, for those wondering, is 720-221-0351. It is NOT a good thing that you have to search on the internet and go to a website where people REPORT suspicious, strange, and persistent phone calls - just to have a company representative defend the nature of the business.

This number kept calling and would hang up before I could answer. Finally I decided to sit by my phone and wait til it called again and I picked up on the first ring. A lady with a heavy accent insisted she was calling to verify my information and had my name and address. She then said that she verified information for health insurance and asked if I needed or had health insurance for myself. I said I do not need healht insurance for myself. She asked "So for how many people in your house? Do you have any children?" So I asked her again where she was calling from and she said "The health department" I asked WHAT health department. Finally she said "The health department of Michigan." I asked how she got my number and she insisted I applied for health insurance (which I did for my son when I got laid off, but this was suspicious so I told her I did not) and she goes "Fine, if you don't want the health insurance that is your problem." And hung up.
I then contacted the Michigan Department of Community Health and explained the phone call. I gave her the number and she called it and said it went straight to the voicemail which didn't say what company it belonged to. I was advised by the State that this sounded fishy and if the woman called back to let her know I am not comfortable giving out my information and that she needs to specify which health department she was calling from because there is no Michigan Health Department. We only have county health departments. And if she still insists to tell her that I am reporting her to the State Attorney General for health care fraud. And that should either get the real information out if she is legitimate (which I doubt she is) or get the calls to stop. If the calls come back through I will definitely do this and let you all know what happened with it.

I received a call from 720-221-0351 from a lady with a Hispanic accent asking me to verify information for healthcare, I told her I’m not looking for health insurance, she said she understood and she insisted that it would only take a minute to verify my information, to my amazement she had all kind of information on me including my E-mail and home /cell phone number, height and weight that she only wanted to verify. Minutes after I talked to her I was bombed by health insurance sales saying they paid $12 for my phone number leads. I called this number back and no one would answer, I did a search it comes up as Dataverifier Dataverifier at 21699 US HY 40 Golden Colorado 80401

Same start, but we cut it off sooner. Thick hispanic accent, and my wife's maiden name is Spanish.

12/23/10 4:50 Eastern time, in Baltimore. Received a call from this number. My wife, who has a Spanish last name, answered. Caller ID reads ShamikaB. Asked for my wife by name. Caller had a thick Hispanic accent, maybe Puerto Rican. Identified herself as Jennifer (pronounced Yennifer).
Said she was calling from the Health Department, to verify health insurance. Wife declined, caller responded, "OK, too bad! You lose!" LOL.

I have no idea who this person is and why they keep calling. They never leave a message. ID doesn't show any company name or other information.

Have several missed calls from this number. They didn't leave any messages.

Just got a call at 10:47 am (CST). Didn't answer. No message. Attempted to call back after reading this information. As I was calling the number called back (10:51 am). I answered. Female, Middle-eastern accent. She asked for me by name, but unlike many calls where I will let a person start their pitch, I told her that I had done an internet search on this phone number and was not interested in anything that was being sold. She said to wait and listen to her, but I told her that I wasn't interested. I politely asked her to remove my name from the calling list and not call back again. Not sure where our personal numbers are getting shared, but I am getting more and more angry at these solicitations.
I registered with the Do Not Call List about a month ago, but that hasn't seemed to stop calls coming in. I don't frequent strange sites on the internet, nor do I ever fill forms out with my cell phone number. I just don't know who is hacking/selling this info.

I got a call this morning from a lady with a hispanic accent asking me to verify information for healthcare benefits. I asked her what benefits and what company. I think she said Medicare. I told her I did not have Medicare and she insisted that it would only take a minute and wanted to transfer me to someone else. I told her I did not know what she was talking about and hung up on her. She immediately called me back; however, I did not answer. I would bet this person is a thief and is involved in stealing someones identity. I am going to report this number to the authorities and I suggest you do the same.

Called for a Neil Harmon. Apparently this guy is giving my home phone number out all over the internet. Got calls from a "search verify" and also from "search for degrees" This company says search verify. The lady said that someone at nh408@gmail.com had put my number in. I filled out no such internet request - being harrassed by multiple sales calls asking for Neil harmon
