I just got the same call from this number. I called Suntrust bank rather than give any reply to the computer. Suntrust said that it is definitely a phishing scheme. That they were not calling nor would it come up as Par3 if they had.

It is Suntrust. Why do they have to hide behind a fake name? I have called the BBB and the State Banking Commission.

I got a call from this same number this morning. Caller ID says PAR 3. I got an automated message that said "This is Suntrust Bank calling regarding a change in your account status. If this is (my name was said by their computer), please press one. (pause) For security purposes, please enter your five digit zip code."
I hung up at this point for a few reasons:
* Whenever my bank ever calls me, their name (Suntrust) shows up on my caller ID
* I felt like this was a phishing expedition aimed at getting my identifying information or confirming that I have a bank account.
* I NEVER talk to computers
* If there is a problem with my account, I have always gotten a letter in the mail or a call from a HUMAN.
Advice: NEVER answer calls if you don't recognize the caller ID number. If it is important, they will leave a message, their ID and a return number. NEVER give identifying information out over the phone or press numbers to do so.
There are some pretty serious scammers out there!

I am looking into the spam from this phone

The area code is for 11 counties in Colorado. The only message caught by the ans. machine was "your account." I answered the second call to find an automated message regarding my checking account. My bank has charged a fee in error causing an overdraft and is using this service to collect the alleged debt. Listen to the message so you'll know who is contacting you. If it's not a valid debt take action to stop the calls. If it is a valid debt contact Consumer Credit Counseling Services to find out if they can help work out an acceptable repayment plan. www.cccservices.com 800-355-2227

This number shows up but no message. Several times over last few days.
