They are up to it again, got a fax from Hot Leads.

Got two calls from 1.888.215.9522. Didn't recognize the number so typed it into a search engine and this website came up. Don't know what it all means. I'm also on the 'do not call" list.

972-248-9091  This is the number I called and got a live person.  I was pissed off and told him to remove me from their list.  He was caught off guard definitely.  EVERYONE call this number 972-248-9091 !!!!!!!!

These guys are just the notorious "American Blast Fax" (aka Sunbelt Marketing) group re-incarnated with a different name. The send faxes to every state except the 2 states that have injunctions against them.

If you want to get off their list, fax your fax number to 972-407-1808. If that doesn't work, call 877-886-4808 talk to mechell or steve or keep leaving voicemails until they remove your number. If that doesn't work, contact us and we'll publish more numbers you can use. I also have a partial list of My Hot Leads customers so if you are serious about a lawsuit, we may be able to help you identify additional plaintiffs that are responsible for the faxes.

They are now being sued in federal court for their faxes and I believe that a permanent 50 state injunction will be requested by the Plaintiffs. If you aren't pursuing a case against them, please don't contact him.

History proves that the ONLY way to shut them down is you have to convince the Texas Attorney General to bring an action in federal court to enforce the existing injunction so that they stop. This is how fax.com was finally shut down in California. Nothing else worked. The reason an injunction works is that the Horne's can be put in jail for a few years if they violate a federal injunction. You can get 6 months in jail without a jury trial on contempt. They give a s*** about that. Everything else is a joke. You can refer them to this page. The Texas AG already has an injunction against them. They need to bring an Order to Show Cause why the Horne's shouldn't be held in contempt. When you call, you can refer to this page: 8-22-2001 Cornyn Announces Court Judgment Against Broadcast Fax Business which talks about the injunction issued by U.S. District Judge Sam Sparks (Western District, TX).

However, they are only in contempt if they send their faxes into Texas or Minnesota. If you receive one of their faxes and you are in either of these states, contact us using the link on the left.

Unfortunately for us, they avoid these two states. Nice loophole. The judge in Texas didn't grant the AG's request that the Horne's be prohibited from sending faxes outside of Texas because there was no evidence that the Horne's were sending faxes outside of Texas. So that's what they do now, send faxes to the other 48 states. It will be several lifetimes before they get injunctions against them from all states so they just go along violating the law in the other states.

If you want to be removed from their list: Call Dave Crandall at 1-800-317-8309 or Fax him at 800-627-3723. Include the fax numbers you want to be removed (since they already have your number, it's not like giving them something that they don't already know!). Mike and Greg Horne and their associates from American Blast Fax are still at it. Despite losing millions in court (judgments they never pay), and despite numerous injunctions (that they all ignore), they just change the name of their company and do the same fax broadcasting over and over and over again. I personally get their faxes and I get more complaints about them than any other company on the entire website. That's pretty impressive.

Calls from this number almost daily, from midnight to  5am and throughout the day. When I answer there is no one there and they never leave any messages. When I've called this number back its a continual busy tone. I just want them to stop calling me.

I have sent back 22 requst to the 1-800-815-8906 number to request that they take me off their list. Go figure they haven't yet.  I recive faxes from midnight - 5am from with the call back delete numbers of 1-888-214-4322 and 1-800-214-1222.  Something needs to be done, having a 10 month old waking up with these calls is not our idea of fun.

Affordable Life Insurance

I get a few a day now...so I traced.  The person at my phone company told me that she knew who these guys were and would have our number removed.  If the phone company knows who this is, and I am on the Do Not Call list, why don't they turn these guys into the authorities.  I'm tired of calls at 2AM, 4AM, and 6AM.  This is stupid....

And the list goes on, having received these types of faxes once or twice a week for the past couple of years. At the bottom of each of these faxes is listed "To delete fax number call 888 214 1222" or a variation of that (also 888-214-4322, 888-214-1422).

Get calls from this number at all times of the day for the last 2-3 months.  No one is ever there and when I try to call it back I get the message that all circuits are busy.

Received call, answered, no one on other end. disconnected after about 1 minute. Just started a business, from the messages s far, looks like it's a marketer to small businesses. Anyone else just get a new business phone or fax number?

Has called my work number thrice in past week. Tonight(Sunday at 8:40 PM). No message left. Only rings twice.

received a call from 720-221-9509. No one spoke. After 5-10 seconds, caller hung up. I immediately received a fax for a digital camera surveillance system. the info said to call 888-214-4322 to delete your fax number.

I work for the Qwest phone company. I received a call from a customer about this phone number, after reading these posts I feel compelled to inform customers of a certain feature available on their Qwest lines, if you are not a Qwest customer, contact your service provider they should have a similar feature, it is Call Trace and here is the information on it. This is a pay per use service, but charges will only apply if the call was successfully traced.

1.    The customer must press *57 (or 1157 from a rotary phone) immediately after hanging up from the call to be traced. The voice response system gives directions for activating the trace and quotes the charge if the trace is successful. If Call Trace is not successful, the customer receives an announcement advising that the call could not be traced.
2.    After three successful traces, the customer can call the Annoyance Call Bureau at 1 800-582-0655 to advise that they have activated a Call Trace.
3.    After three calls from the same number, the Annoyance Call Bureau will handle the trace in a manner consistent with existing procedures. Under normal circumstances, deterrent action is taken only after three successful traces to same number.
4.    The Annoyance Call Bureau sends a letter to the address from which calls are made, but the customer may also request that the information be turned over to the police.

Once again this information is only true for Qwest customers, if you have another phone service please contact them for information on features such as this.

I received four calls from midnight to 5 am from this number, did you have any luck with the police or your city council?  I would appreciate any help that you can give me, this is ridiculous!
