I got it, and I'm glad this website lets me know it's a scam. I just deleted it.. Is there a way for the government to establish webpolice, and either delete scammers/inappropriate #'s, or fine people who misuse the internet? That would be ideal if we could all go to one website to report issues and have webpolice investigate and serve justice by punishment. Either a hefty fine, or probation? Do you agree? We need one site for everyone to go to.  We're basically unprotected on the internet/through phones..  And there seems to be no or low consequences for people who misuse the internet. WP: WebPolice

Got the same text. Called it because my bank just issed me a new card. Thought it was to activate card. Started asking for 9 digit ss# and ccrd info. After getting though ss# and 1/2 my ccrd info i hung up. I called my bank to see what their pra tice was. And they said they dont opperate that way. And dont give out info. Major scam.....

I lost my wallet then about a month later I get this text.has anyone had ant credit issues from these texts

I received the same message, down to the vtext.com identifier. Apparently this person is using Verizon resources to send these messages, but of course customer service won't give any details with which I can call back and harass this person

Most scam ops want you to get a green dot card because it can't be traced. But any time they ask for a card like that , its a major red flag..

As long as you can part with that $20, this is a fantastic idea. A lot of gift cards can have their usage tracked. If someone takes that money, there will be a money trail. I'm curious to see how this turns out

Received this text: "[Achieve] Call: 720 223 8202 Regarding Your Account". Called the number and it says some prepaid card has been suspended. I'm guessing this is a scam trying to get people to give up their bank account info to have money loaded on a new prepaid card. However, I don't have now, nor have I ever had such a card.
