Sorry, can't help you with stopping texts but the usual scam, when you are called/texted to receive an already-approved loan for whatever, is the advanced-fee scam where you have to pay $$$ in advance before receiving the loan because your credit is less than pristine (their target market are desperate low-FICO people in need of a loan). Paying in advance for a loan is illegal by law in the USA http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/telemarketing/tel16.shtm that states "It is illegal for companies doing business in the U.S. by phone to promise you a loan and ask you to pay for it before they deliver." They will want you to Western Union the $$$ because wired money is irretrievable and they can pick up the money from anywhere in the world if you give them the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) for the wire. Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.

Received the same text message offering upto a $1500 loan - says to visit www.1500NowSite.com.  Replied STOP to cancel and hope it will, indeed, stop.  I called the number from a land line, rang about 6 times, then message said "this phone number does not currently have a voicemail setup" or something to that effect.

I just received a text message offering the same thing.  I replied to stop the texts, but have yet to determine if they'll actually stop.
