Same thing happened to me when I call back. Sometimes I get calls several times a day from this #. But I thought it may be a legitimate company because of our insurance till I tried calling back. Now I'm also getting calls from (720) 240-9740.

Just got two calls in a row. No message left. Went to sprint.com to my account, went to preferences, and then looked up block a call. I added this inumber. That's the last time I'll have THIS problem! I love sprint. I'm sure they all allow you to do this!

Called back and it was just a continual busy signal.

I googled the number and it came back to an ad on craigslist out of Denver for a tow service ad.  I have been receiving odd scam, phishing calls. This number did not leave a message and like most all of the other scam calls it came in at 8:22 am. Im in Indiana, so I would have no reason for a tow truck place in Denver, if that is what this number truly is. I have recently added a call block app on my android and when I woke up, and checked my phone a little screen popped up that said the app detected a possibly  malicious call and would I like to add this to my blocked list. Yup, I sure would, and did.

I have been getting all the "known" scam and spam calls the past few months, and now add this number to the rest.  Thank goodness I recently have started to just turn my ringer on silent every night because it seems all these scam and spam calls come in right around 8:00 am, or really late at night. I don't answer calls I don't know, but at 8am I am in bed. They didn't leave a message and I had 6 missed calls starting at 8:03 to 8:16am this morning.  When these calls first started from other numbers, it would be cell phone number with local area code, and they wouldn't leave a message, and within an hour, you could guarantee that another call from a different number would come in with people leaving threatening message on my voicemail. So im wondering if they use numbers to just randomly call a number to see if its in working, and then throw a good number into a list of some sort and then use that with some of their other numbers to run the scam??  This is getting so annoying, I came close to falling for it and panicked when I heard the message I was going to jail etc etc that I did make the mistake of calling them back, which I know now was a BAD, BAD thing to do, but i have not answered ANY call in three months, and i am STILL getting them. Not sure how long they will keep trying to contact me from all these random numbers. And  then when a human voice threatening me didn't work, they switched numbers and approach to an automated voice. Still not going to work.

Sorry for rambling, I hope to help others by just putting my info out there about what has been happening to me the past few months, in hopes of if and when it happens to someone else, they wont panic, or worry.

I can tell by reading that some get frustrated  because it seems that you have to repeat yourself over, and over on different threads, but just remember that you are helping so many people out there, even ones that don't post, and it means these scammers are loosing victims each day!! It shows me that there are still great people out there and these people that try to scam are loosing the battle more times then not because of people like you all!!

Got a call from them and a voicemail... it was someone called "Med One Solutions".  It's a bill collector.

Don"t know anyone in Denver. Calls from 720-240-9308 & 720-240-9740 with 30 minutes. No message left on my voice-mail. Tried texting, rejected as land line.  Tried calling back...calls never rang through. Listed on my cell as Do NOT answer !

Same here. It was CTU telling me the new session is beginning! ;-)

For me, it was Colorado Technical University only letting me know that the new session is about to begin. Seeing as I am a student with them, it makes sense. I hope this clears things up for anyone.

Collections agency looking for payment on medical bill that my insurance company already paid 7 months ago.

I received a call from this number and received a voicemail when I did not answer.  These people are medical debt collectors.

Speculative machines only produce a paradigm in line with their normative ethical systems.
Thus, the association of genius with madness in not inaccurate.
It takes a mind of abnormal preferences to fashion truth in a holistic sense.

Reality is not reasonable, logic is a facade for the shallow optimists and the indolent pessimists.

This call coincided with a call from another number I was unfamiliar with. I received silence when I called back, but when I called the other number they informed me that I had previously been listed as a reference for an old friend from college who had never finished school and then defaulted on his loans. They were trying to get in touch with him because his contact #'s were no longer in service. The loan service was Pennsylvania Higher Education Credit Union. Seeing some other mentions of American Education Services(another student loan lender) leads me to believe that this company is potentially a third party student loan debt collector, possibly just testing numbers of references to see if they are valid.

I received 4 calls and 4 messages form this number today, i answered and it was silence everytime. I tried to call it back a couple times, it didn't ring at all just silence.

Missed call from them. Thank you to the above posters for your info because caller didn't leave a msg but appeared as a Colorado number. I returned a phone call once from Colorado and was charged $20. Even tho it said Colorado, the call went outside the US. I don't know that this is case with this phone number but it is good info to know. If someone doesn't take the time to leave a msg, or if the msg sounds to good to be true, don't bother to return a call.

Got a call today not sure why though

They just left a message stating that we had redemption rewards to collect by calling a number. Every time they gave their organization name it came through fuzzy. This has happened to me before, so I think it is a scam tactic to make the message go a little fuzzy just at that point. "Redemption Rewards Center" is who it sounded like they said they were. They also said to call 855 367 3905 to collect our rewards from Target and Walmart in the form of gift cards.

Just got a call from this number.  The recorded message they left gives a callback number (800-213-0228) belonging to American Education Services.

Called me @ 7:59am. I was about to answer and start screaming about calling me before 8am. But, phone stopped ringing, mid ring.

I got seven calls from this number or a variant.  I did get a machine to answer when I called back. I think its a bank scam. It asked me to enter my account by entering my SSN.   SCAM.......SCAM.......never never never do this for anyone or anything that calls you.

what the f*** is this s***? why do they keep calling me? debt collectors? feds? what? ANNOYING!

this number has called me several times i answer the number and no one answers. I called the number back and the call cant go out at all its like if i didnt dial the number. Its annoying!!

720-240-9308 keeps calling me started @8:05am and just kept calling I finally just shut my phone off

This number calls my phone frequently.  sometimes they will call 3 times back to back.  they leave no message and dont speak when i answer.  I looked up the number and found out I am one of dozens of people getting these calls.
