I also got a text saying a problem with my credit union debit card. I don't have one. I reported to the district attorney consumer protection division with a quick email. Maybe they can shut them down. Also reported it to the local newspaper. Not sure if they will do anything since these are somewhat common, but the more you let people know that there are scams like this out there, the less likely the scammers can rip off people with them and maybe eventually they will do something productive with their time instead of irritating people.

Got a text from 720-250-0553 claiming my Credit Union Debit card needed to be validated, I called and gave bogus info, the computer accepted it - I don't even have a debit card...

I received both a VM and text saying my debit card with my credit union had a pending alert and to call

When I called a recording asked me to enter my debit card number. f*** these ppl they need to get f****d up
