I called Westfax business at 800-473-6208 and asked them to remove my home phone from their database.

Calls after midnight.
Calls before 6 AM
Calls all hours of the day and night...for months.
Fax tone only.

call the 1800 number from Kims message and they will block the calls.

Been getting calls for months.  Called the 800 number today.  Very pleasant girl answered the phone and said she would take care of it.  Thanks to the folks who found the number to call!

This number calls my cell phone about once a week. I've blocked the number, so it goes directly to my voicemail, but it's got to STOP!! I get calls from other numbers that give me the same fax machine sound when I answer or check my voicemail.

Followup to earlier comment:  I found the WestFax home page and called the removal number 1-800-473-6208, which is the same number poster Kim (16 July) suggested.  Very pleasant person said my number would be added to the screening list and I would not be called again by WestFax.  Apparently their clients upload a list of numbers for broadcast by WestFax, but only after the numbers are screened by WestFax's "no call" database.  We will see if it works.  Hmmm ... I wonder why WestFax doesn't seem to use the federal no-call list????  Wonder if this is a violation of federal law or is there a loophole that allows fax calls to numbers on the no-call list???

fax tone on answering machine, 7:08 a.m.

This number has been calling my home continuously. It sounds like a FAX beep.   I usually delete it with no problem, but it called at 3:15 in the morning--now I'm pissed!

I get at least one call a day, at all hours. It's completely irritating.

I am receiving at least 1 call per day from this number. All I hear when I pick up is the roar of the fax. Each time I try to return the call I get a busy signal. Final straw? A call came at 4:02 this morning!

I have also been getting this call for about a year and finally *69 today.  I googled the number 720-264-9973.  I found some other people with this problem and they suggest calling 1-800-473-6208 and asking to be removed.  Just did it today so not sure if it works but thought I would let you know.

This number has been calling my house for almost a year now.  I have called the phone company, they said there is no such number.  I have found this website and thought I would also post my experience.  When I called the number back sometimes I would be another fax tone, and other times I would just get nothing but a busy signal.  These calls come at all hours of the day.  As early as 6:00 am and as last as 11 pm.  I want this to stop - please help we terminate this bug!

this number called and i did not pick up. when i tried to return the call, as soon as i was connected the call was cut. i tried 3 more times with the same result.
