6-11-13 receiving texts from people on these lists and even using the same scams.

I just received a check from Macquarie Energy Limited for 4,300 I think its funny money.  I am not putting it in my account.  Pretty sure  thats how they get your  bank account info. Probably got my address from craigslist post.

Same person posing as Kim Cook or Steve Cook junehelen@gmail.com from Texas. How do we report this? His secretary accidentally mailed me a check for 1650$  instead of 120$, and could I cash it and forward the extra cash to his movers. What a terrible thing to do. He was buying a stroller from me  from Craiglist Montreal but living in Texas.

I received a copy of Jacqueline Ruth Fitzgerald's passport from the scammer, supposedly from within London, UK. If someone knows Jaqueline born in April 1983 in Australia, please let her know that some  or whoever it is is using her passport.
I was told she was an Air hostess for KLM.
Ask them for a land line to call them on.They won't give you one for it can be traced. You can also tell them that you have a friend currently in that country who will view the property on your behalf. They will then say they can't for whatever reason.
Try to get the account number they want you to pay the money into and give it to a government department. At least those might be traceable.

I just got the same scam on a Craig's List ad form the beajunkie2@googlemail.com using the name Mark Taylor.  I did go to PayPal and request the funds, got suspicious, Googled the email address, found this and canceled the request for payment through PayPal.  Hope that few minutes the request was posted didn't allow him access to anything.

Got the same exact message! Total scam. As soon as I told them I prefer the payment to go through paypal they stopped responding, knew the email about her being hearing impaired was sketchy!

Just saw offer from Kimberly Lanz to purchase my motorcycle. Poor grammar and now asking for pay pal info. Introducing western Union agent fee. They will pay additional amount to cover cost.

Ha ha.  I got an email regarding a comment I made on craigslist (I was not actually selling something) from this do***ebag a few months back and quickly realized it was a scam.  Anyhoo, I played along and sent him an address to send the cheque... the chief of police  :)  I don't know what ever became of that.

They just copy and paste it all... I received the exact same message. Then the next one said they would be adding the cost of the mover to the check for me and would I be kind enough to send those funds to the mover via Western Union. Yeah, right!

The sad thing is there must be a lot of people who fall for this for them to keep doing it...

I receieved an email similar to these and the person was interested in my vehicle that I put on craigs list. Wanted my pay pal address not sure what thats about? Didn't fall for it though. So hopefully someone can put a stop to all this craziness!!!!!!  It was under the name Kimberly  Lanz and the email was bronx4life24@gmail.com!

I also received an email from bronx4life24@gmail.com not 10 minutes after I posted a listing on CraigsList. They gave me the name "Kimberly Lanz". It seems sketchy and glad I googled the email address.

Same scammer just responded to my post.  I'm glad I checked.  Went by the name of Elizabeth Milton and was deaf.  Going to get her secretary to send me a check.

I have done a little investigation and got the name of a female "Mary Marines" She told me her name was Kimberly. she lives in Banbury, Oxfordshire.. as she says on her Facebook profile she said she's "Am an easy going woman,loving,caring,honest and understanding" yeah right.
