Someone by the name of Leo O'Connor called my work and left a message for me to call ASAP because there was a law suit against me. When I have called back its either busy or rings and rings

Well I am glad to hear from all the comments that this number is fake and a total scam. I dod mot give them any of my info but they had my work number and my email  but not my work address or my home address. I did contact my lawyer and ya glad to know these people are fake. I should had known since the amount I supposedly owe was high.  Lol ;)

guy with accent keeps calling everytime i get online and apply for payday loan, and he had the nerve to call my job, saying there is a lawsuit filed for a payday loan. at this time i never had a payday loan, i only applied online. this is a total scam, don;t be alarmed. i just call him names, and hang up. but the fact that he is calling my job, is really upseting me. he needs to be caught and arrested.

today I started getting phone calls, saying that I or my attorney needs to intouch, or its going to be bad for me. so I called back n ask what's tha name of this law firm, he said it so fast I told him I never heard of it. so I hung up n still called back, where he asker law firm, then going to say it must be a bad connection. there isn't no bad connection yall not real law firm period, so they called again I said what do yall want he going to say hold on saying my first name I said naw not holding on to nothing. I know a shame, I dealt wit a pay day loan an we went to court to only be dismiss, because they didn't show up, did tha same thing 2yrs ago, I look them up after they kept calling. they was base in florida, an when my husband told them he was wit law n forcement he hang up, going to call again saying I was approve for a auto loan. again my husband told he call again, its me going to lock you up.

now iam getting tha same phone calls, saying tha same thing. but I had this done to me 2yrs ago until my husband said he was a cop, they hung up but called from a diffent number saying I'am approve for a auto loan, these people was located in florida

I just got the exact same call claiming to be a law firm telling me I'm being sued and I disregard the email they sent me emails I never received of course he told me the cops were behind me I was about to be arrested then actually said f*** you and hung up on me I called back a few times left some choice words and hung up on them

I got that same call during my work hours.  This is most definitely a scam these ppl need to be caught.  Report them to the FTC

Yes I just received a nother call from them statin that I hav a law suit against me for fraud and sum other dum s*** .i told him I read the internet reguarding this number and they where scams. Then I told him I new the sargent at the police station and I was fowarding his number to him. He goes in bad english I am a law firm. its a scam don't worry read the comments tell them that you will notify the police if you don't get proper validation not even real law firm don't worry

I got a call from this number saying I had a hot check and that someone will pick me up from my home in 3 hours and the guy laughed in the voicemail

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I received several calls today from  720-361-1453 claiming they were going to file a lawsuit against me. When I asked basic questions like what is this about?,company website, city and state and name of person in regards to this matter they would not answer my questions.  I lost my temper and stated that I thought they were full of crap and if they were going to do something bring it on. Then they hung up on me.

I received the same call from 720-361-1453, a foreign Mr. Henry Datel. He left a message on my cell and work phone stating my attorney or I needed to call him back and good luck if I don't.  I had this same call a few weeks ago stating I owed $17000.  I never borrowed the funds he claimed I had and said I would be arrested if I didn't pay.  I told him this was completely false and never to call my number again.  

I received the same exact message, word for word, from 3 different callers, all with foreign accents, but American names. They are a joke. However, I am a little worried since they always repeat my social security #  to me. Something has to be done to stop these losers.

I too received a called tonight from 720.361.1453, the gentleman was also foreign stated his name was Jack Conoway.  Scared me until my husband said it didn't sound legit.  They said I owed $643.00 and If I didn't pay tonight I'd be arrested by 11am tomorrow morning spend 15 days in jail and owe over $8000.00.  Said they represented US Cash couldn't provide any other information.  Told me to go to Walmart and wire money to resolve; while stalling my husband called the Sheriff department who said you are mailed legal documentation from the law firm.  

yea they blocked my number because i keep calling them back, they were rude and threatening , which sent up a red flag no attorney is going to curse at you and threaten you like they did I also called and filed a complaint with the FBI. I also googled and called back the real mr lancaster ( darnedest thing no accent lol )

I called the real lancaster law firm in Colorado and he was aware that this scam was ongoing and he assured me it has nothing to do with him. Obviously I believe him.

It is a scam. They call people and try to scare them I to sending money by telling them they are going be arrested at their place of business for not paying back a loan which they claim constitutes check fraud. They received your info because you probably applied for a loan of some sorts online. As dumb as it sounds they find many people down on their luck who actually think it is real. They also use the name of real people and law firms so if you look it up you may actually believe it. The FBI has issues advisories about these types of scams.

Got the call; same as all the above. I know it's wrong but I keep calling back messing with the guy. It's pretty funny and is humoring me.

This number called me several times, today I answered and they told me they represented US Cash and were going to have me arrested tomorrow for faliure to pay back a cash advance, I told them to send the poilce.  I didn't get the name of the person, definitly foreign. He said they were with some law firm.

hi i am a attorney calling from lancester law firm. if i dont give them the money i will go to jail on monday. told them i never got a loan from anyone. stated i did. tarted yelling at me and i had to hang up.

They just called me too. they want me to call them once I arrrvied at Walmart with to get instruction on how to pay them 100 dollars using a green dot money voucher. I have only tow hours to do so or go to jail at noon tomorrow.

I received a call from this Lancaster Law firm myself, and after contacting the local PD as well as a friend who is a Private investigator, they advised me that this was in fact a scam. They can not charge you with anything, most that they can do is a civil lawsuit.

I contacted the attorney whose Denver law firm name is being used. They also were actually using his name. He is aware and reported it to the Colorado authorities. He seems like a decent guy who is obviously unaware of the scam. Other internet reports show they actually user the names of real law firms so if someone googles it they see a real name. Sadly, to some people, the scam works.

I picked up on it right away and just messed with them. How they have your personal info?  You probably either had a payday/auto loan, or filled out an inquiry form which actually goes to a bunch of valid lenders, and some of these scam artists. That's how they know your social and job info. In my case the only thing I remember is filling out a car loan application which now in retrospect was a bad idea since it resulted in nearly 20 calls from India residents named Mike Jones asking for my bank account info.
