Yep, just started getting these call, as well.  $ in the last hour or so.  I don't answer, they leave no message.  Irritating, get something better to do!

It is Saturday 6-7-2014 and this number has called me 3 times within the past hour, I pick up no answer who is this

The Same academic advisory called me also,

They have called with 8 different numbers about the same thing, never a voicemail, and I am always hung up on.

This number is calling more then one time a day and will not leave a message, and no one will answer when I pick up this is getting annoying and insane 720.399.7170

They wont stop calling me

This is a telemarketer from Academic Adviser, and the girl who calls is named "Ashley".
She called me 15 times!! The first time she called was around 8 in the morning, she asked if I was interested in furthering my schooling withing the next 3 months, I told her I was not interested, that I was dealing with a sick child. She apologized and hung up. I no more and hung up and she called again! I said "you just called, quit calling!" and hung up. The next 12 times I was unable to get to the phone (sick child), and let it go to my voice-mail. The 15th and last time, I got rude and nasty! I said "Look Ashley, I told you the first time you called I was NOT interested that I am dealing with a sick child! If you do not take my name and number off of your list, I WILL file harassment charges against you and your company. I am on the Do Not Call list, now do not call me again, do you understand?"  "Ashley apologized, and said she would take my information off of her list.
I have not received a call from her or that company since!

I don't like getting mean and rude with people, but sometimes you have to.

my son is 13 and he is called almost everyday during school and he has gotten his phone taken away twice for this.

called me 10 times today, some just half an hour apart, so i decided to answer, "Ashley" (it's a robot) asked to speak with me by name and that said that she was calling from academic something, i didn't catch it so i asked her to repeat and the robot just kept going and said that she was going to ask me some questions to determine what college i should go to. i said "Stop calling me" and she promptly hung up. hopefully that's all it took.

Called 6 times in 1 day

These calls are scams to obtain your personal information and an attempt to sell you products. They collect your telephone number from such places as "Valued Customer" discount cards (e.g. grocery stores and department stores) and other sources like take out orders placed online. Once you give this information it is considered "surrendered" and is no longer protected. Your wireless carrier can block individual numbers if you are able to provide the entire ten-digit number. Please be careful about to whom you release your number and if a merchant needs a phone number for record keeping purposes request that your information be kept private and not resold. Often this is an excellent source of revenue for merchants and marketing firms. If you are an Android user Google Voice can provide you a free number that is a legitimate number to which you can set preferences (such as never ringing to your actual phone) that I personally find very useful in avoiding these types of plagues upon your privacy -- also great if you ever use Craigslist to sell an item. If you are an Apple user, "I feel sorry for you, son. Got 99 problems but my phone aint one." Only kidding, but seriously, if you are an Apple user just don't give out your number or ask your carrier for blocking options.

Received 5 calls on Sunday during church service.  After service I answered another call from this # and they hung up.  I called back and got a msg.  It started if I want to be off the list to enter my #. I did and that disconnected me.  I'm on the do not call list.

Repeated calls from "Academic Advisor.". Not interested.  Spoke with "Ashley," who won't take no for an answer so I hang up.  I get a call the next morning before 8 AM and they wake up me and my baby.

Receiving multiple calls from this number.  If you try to call them back no one answers.  They just hang up on you.  When I finally answer their call, "Ashley" on the line asks if I am interested in furthering my education and I tell her no.  Then, as if I didn't say anything she asks if I am going back to school in the next 3 months and (politely) again tell her I am not interested.  She STILL continues talking.  I hang up.  I get another call from them the very next morning and they wake me and my baby up.  How do you report these people for harassment?

718 839 6905p (yesterday received 2 calls from Ashley, automated voice from Academic Advisor asking what program i wanted to enroll in and if i could go back to school within 3 months.

All these businesses supposedly have offices at the above Lehi address. No one could directly tell me which company/biz resides at Suite L 04.

didnt give him my number or email when he told me he could put it down on their 'Do Not Call' List. I originally called the number using *67, to block my number/identity.

Person is not Ashley fake name probably wants to collecta dept also called my cell phone this time they talked to me instead of hanging up.. about starting college as stated above in some of the posts i asked to be removed and of course Ashley hung up

It makes you wonder how people like that get phones in the first place. By their logic, they would walk to the convenience store to buy a piece of bread in order to give to the stray cat outside the apartment complex in exchange for information leading to the arrest of the guy that hangs out at the nearby intersection begging for money in order to procure phone service at Rey's house. I mean, that seriously makes as much sense and would produce the exact same results as posting Rey's msg to this website (with OR without Rey's phone number included). Dolts.

I have received nine phone calls from this number in the past four hours. Sometimes the other end of the line is silent, but sometimes they ask for Tanya.

I am on the do not call list and have gotten several calls from this number. I am not interested in whatever they are selling and want them to stop. Despite hanging up on them they persist.

This company scares me.  

A woman called our home and claimed to be an academic advisor.  The caller ID read UNKNOWN NAME 720-399-7170.  We have three children in public schools and assumed it was the school.  

The woman started asking all sorts of intrusive questions (our dates of birth, our dates of graduation, our age, and so on).  She never asks our name.  I asked for her name and contact information.  She said her name is Ashley and her phone number is 801-805-7995.  When confronted her about her misleading script, she claimed that someone in hour home  asked for information about college on a website but could not define the web address.

I Googled 801-805-7995 and learned that it is a collection agency called Portfolio Recovery.  Methinks they are using illegal tactics to get information.  We had filed for bankruptcy last year and wonder i someone isn't going to try to scam us into paying some of that old debt.  

Be careful!!!  

Received numerous calls. Claim they are Academic Advising.
Repeatedly tell them do not call again. Reply is ok we will call back another time.
They are supposedly located an hour away, at this point of unsubscribing, reporting them, I am nearing the point of finding their office and paying them a visit in person.

They do not take either not interested or f*** off as a hint. Nor do they stop calling after multiple times of being told so.

I recently applied for a job using a Taleo interface. My bet is they are marketing our contact info to universities.  I remember a further your education question during the application process but I answered no.

I have received several calls that do not answer when I pick up.  On the 4th call I continued to say ."Hello" and finally someone with an Asian accent answered and i couldn't understand a word they said.  I have  received 3 more calls in 2 days.  Very Irritating!

I just received a call from this number and it was Josh from University of ??? about furthering my education.  Couldn't make out what he said about where he was calling from...heavy accent.  720 is a Colorado area code which is the only reason I answered the call since I live in CO.  It will now be blocked.

I am speaking to the people at this number who call my home continuously.  I have reported you to my phone company and even called the police on your a**.  I'll get you.  I guess the DO NOT CALL LIST means nothing to you.  If you are trying to sell something, good luck with that.  Even if you had something to offer, who'd buy it?  Look at the websites created for you alone, that's how annoying you are.  GO F*** YOURSELF

You need to direct your request to the person actually calling you!  Why do you think posting on a public website (without your phone number) will get you off of a call list?

Please put me on your do not call list.
