Got 3 calls in  the middle of night and 2 during day. My phone is an on call phone for a  Doctor and I don't need to get thes unsolicitied calls!

I think I finally found a way for us to get these creeps. I have found a website that will give us the CARRIER that is associated with these callers. If we contact the carriers en-masse, AND we tell them we are aware of the illegal activity AND that we will share their information with others, then perhaps they will start shutting these people down. I have been receiving calls from these 'card services' telemarketers for over a year now. I have been blocking each number they have called with (over 35 at this point). And I have been filing complaints with the FTC Do Not Call Registry and the FCC complaint site, to no avail. I do suggest you all do the same, and do not talk to them or call them back.

These calls are coming from call centers in Costa Rica and India and they are using spoofed (false)
numbers, which in itself is illegal. They do cold calling for or sell the leads to numerous companies in
this country and they know that what they are doing is illegal. Tomorrow this same number may be selling Cruises, Timeshares or Security Systems but if you follow the money it usually ends up in the hands of an American LLC. Keep complaining to the FTC and FCC, and start bugging our politicians to pass laws to make it punishable in criminal court instead of handing out fines that they don't pay. Another course of action is to contact phone companies to find out why they won't block spoofed numbers. With today's technology that should be an easy thing to do, unless they are somehow profiting from the use of their systems.

Robocalls are illegal unless you have given them prior permission in writing (not worded into some small
print contract from a 3rd party) and are absolutely illegal to a cell phone.  The Telephone Consumer
Protection Act permits individuals who have received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes
or telemarketing calls, to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for
each violation.

Constant daily calls from this number. sometimes 3 times a day.

It's time for this garbage to stop.  I have received 34 unsolicited phone calls since the 23rd of APR.  I also have a portable base that I have not given the number to and I have had 9 unsolicited calls on it.  What does it take to stop this gabage?

Bailey, you idiot. Read the posts above. DO you REALLY think because of your one call someone is going to get fined $10,000?  This is a scam that has been going on for over ten years and will continue to go on for many more years since FTC does not have the balls to do anything to them.

I have received more than 150 (I have them documented) calls from these criminals. I have filed more that 50 complaints with the FTC however due to the fact that they hide behind spoofed numbers I doubt that they will ever stop any of them. They ask for up front fees and charge your credit card without performing any services.

I find that I am getting great enjoyment by pressing 1 and talking to one of their "reps". I have a phony name, credit card number, and security code that I use. The only legitimate number that I give them is the customer service number from a credit card that I no longer use since the card raised my rates.
I try to ask the criminals as many questions as possibe to keep them on the phone as long as I can. The scammers seem to get upset once they finally figure out that THEY are getting scammed. I guess they think their time is more valuable than mine.

The guys behind this scam have a slew of corporations, many of them defunct. I searched using the name ?American Debt Negotiators? and found the name of the Registered Representative was a guy named RAN BARNEA, aca RAN DAVID BARNEA, aca DAVID R BARNEA. He is also listed as the president of a whole slew of other active corporations. Another guy is DANIEL T. POST. This stuff is all public record. Here is a list of the active Florida corporations and the corporate officers that I simply copied and pasted here.

Well first a LOT of people DO NOT read any of the posts here. They just post their own message asking "How do I get them to stop?". If you would first read this string you would understand that they DO NOT CARE if you do not want these calls. You are going to continue to recieve them and you cannot do anything about it. They know they are breaking the law. Do you think posting to a web site saying STOP will make them stop calling you? Come on People use your head. They are interested in only ONE thing and that is finding a sucker to give out his or her credit card number to them. Look at the FTC web site for news updates. The FTC shut down one of these companies AFTER the company took in OVER 13 Million dollars from suckers they called. The FTC shut the company down, took the money the company had in the bank which was only $159,000 and that is all. The owners still have over 13 million dollars to re-open down the road and start calling the next batch of suckers to give them another 13 million in dollars. As long as these companies can continue to find stupid people to give them their credit card numbers so they can be scammed these companies will continue to call, fishing for suckers. And as long the FTC cannot issue jail time to the owners of these companies and only take back a few pennies for every dollar they scammed these companies will continue to call suckers and scam them.

I will no longer answer this call when I see the
number come up on my ID.  Hopefully they will stop calling.

Call "Do not call registery" @  888-382-1222, or go on-line and file a complaint.  They will be charged $10,000.  That would stop them.

getting several call from this number 720-409-2532 and at first the caller stated that credit card services needed to have verification of who i am and needed my card number, DOB, and the three number code on the back of the card.  Has about 25 to 45 calls like this and also know are using a number in Iowa.

in the last several week the caller (from the same number) is a detective from the Colorado State Police investigating a crime and need to have card numbers, DOB, email address, etc.  If you should get a call like this forward the number and info the the Colorado SP and state DA office.  So that they can put this group  on ice!!!!

Just gota  call from these p***s wrinkles. Pressed 1 to play some nasty tricks on them but after 5 minutes I was still listening to their elevator music.  No fun for me today I suppose....

no one in phone sales uses their real name - i did some simple corporate surveys back in the early 70's and we were instructed to use a Pseudo-name. I am sure it is still the same today and 'prolly' worldwide.
