Caller ID: "MKTHG". Have called 5 times in 2 days!! Leaves no mssg.

It is very annoying because I get a call everyday on my work phone.  When I answer, the individual hang up.

how can these people be stopped

This came up on our caller ID as MKTNG when the phone rang - I answered and no one responded -- they just hung up.  I am going to block them for the future.

Same here... they don't leave a message and appear to be calling from a publication number of some sort.... probably selling magazines.

Keep receiving calls from 729-452-5523 somewhere in colorado.  Soemthing about magazines.  I told them I'm on the no call list, but they keep calling.  I screen the calls now as I don't know anyone in Colorado, so I don't answer these calls.

I keep getting calls from the number 720 452 5523 and there is no one and no message on the other end.  We sometimes have to interupt patient treatment to answer the phone and when it is a prank call like the ones received from this number it causes undue stress at the office.

I've received many calls from this number 720-452-5523 and they don't leave a message. If I answer the call, no body talk??? It's really disgusting!

I called the number back - it is a service for free publications. It is not possible to leave a message as their mailbox is full. Probably with messages from other people who would like them to stop calling!

This number is forever calling me.  I told them to take me off their list and the calls stopped for awhile.  But, they start up, I tell them the same thing, they stop, then they start again---get the routine?  They usually stop for quite awhile before they start back up again.

Called again today,  picked up and nothing.  Could hear breathing, kept saying ... Hello ... finally someone with heavy foreign accent asked for me, something about some magazine.  Never said what the name was.  Told them to quit calling.  If really trying to sell something .... DO IT!  ...  Don't understand WHY?  they say nothing.  Leave a message if it is important.  These people are a  JOKE!!

This is a telemarketing company trying to sign people up for a free subscription to GPS magazine.  They have called 7 times and I have told them 3 times to take me off their list.  Must be a bunch of morons.

It's a circulation verification call for a free magazine.  If I answer they are nice and after a few questions they are gone.  They do not leave voice mails.

Told the person on the other side that I didn't sign up for the mag and usually toss it when it shows up, to remove me from the circulation and not to call again. 15 business days now and no more calls.

Don't get upset at this one.  Just ask them to take you off their call list -- you don't read that magazine.   It's a boiler room in Boulder Colorado qualifying people to receive a free magazine.  These kind of calls are permitted by law and are required in order to establish circulation numbers used to set rates for advertisers.  If you hang up or they get your voicemail, they will keep calling.

Tired of receiving political phone calls...especially when I took the time over two years ago to register the number with do not call.

Just called this number myself; it's a company that checks the qualifications of free-magazine recipients. You probably get a trade magazine at your office that controls the circulation -- that is, they send it for free but only to those who qualify. They call you up and ask a million questions to determine whether you qualify; it's really annoying, especially since it's usually some publication I don't usually even read.

Me too. Only the "message" is longer; no one is actually speaking. You just hear a call center of some kind in the background.

The person or company keeps calling my work number and leaving a 1 second message. That is annoying because it takes me about 15 seconds to go thru the process to delete this crap.
