When are these harassing calls going to stop? I hope these telemarketers are swamped with the same calls on their home phones! Don't know how they ever get a paycheck since I don't know anyone who ever buys from them! Guess they're too lazy to get a real job, and would rather mooch off the taxpayers, as the gov't sure gives them a free rein all across the board, don't they?

I find some of the remarks posted about these ?faux telemarketer calls? amusing.  I have software that has logged over 339 of these annoyance calls since 2012.  Those of you that let the calls roll to your answering machine or voicemail have just ensured you will get another of these calls.  Maybe not from the same number, but they?ve just identified your number as valid and passed it on.  Most of the initial calls originate from software (aka; ?robocalls?) ? once your number is identified as active, then a person may be there on the follow up calls.  If you have the capability to ?block? the number that called ? that is the best action.  If you don?t have a blocking option, sit close by a phone with caller ID then simply hit talk and off simultaneously.  If you really want to block them ? there is reasonably priced software that a layman can install. Of the 339 calls I?ve blocked, only 16 have been in the last 6 months.  So the message is simple ? blocking works?.

Received a call from 720-452-5598 - caller ID says SENIORCW.  I did not answer and they left no message

Got the SENIORCW on my caller ID so I didn't answer since I didn't recognize what it was.  In checking my machine, there was just a 1/2 second voice, then nothing.  I think maybe my answer message may have deterred them.  I have copied the tone the phone systems use for disconnected numbers before I say to leave a message.  Some robocallers and telemarketers use that tone to identify disconnected numbers and take them off their list of live prospects.  I hope it works here.  I know that for some telemarketers, I have not received more than one call so it must work in some cases.  Google "disconnect phone tone" to get a copy of it.

This was a Telemarketer wanting to sell a service kind of like "Life Lock", but it's cheaper and called, "Protect Senior ID".
I told them I already had ID protection, and wasn't interested. Still they wanted to send me something by mail, and I told them not to, as anything that comes in gets shredded. I asked for a phone number in case I changed my mind, and where they are located. He said Scottsdale, AZ, and 800-891-7058. So after hanging up, I fired up the internet, to see what the BBB had to say about them. Nothing found on the BBB, but I found their site at: http://www.protectseniorid.com/ .. At the top of their site it says "Western Medical". So went back to the BBB and did a search for Western Medical in Scottsdale, AZ. They say the Business is out of Business.. So at the bottom of their Website it gives an address of American Fork, UT. So did another search for Western Medical in UT, and found that they are aka, KMR Medical LLC, and have an F rating. Seems that people are complaining about them just sending out medical stuff, and charging Medicare for them even if you didn't order them. I was wondering how on their website it goes from Fraud and ID protection to medical devices and what is covered.. Now I guess I know.. LOL  Anyways, this seems to be a fly by night outfit, and I will not be doing business with them.

Had several calls today. Did not answer and we are on the Do not call list. I think I will block this number. Hopefully that will solve the problem for now.

Caller ID reads SENIORCW they stated that they are Senior Crimewatch. After he introduced himself he hung up on me mid-sentence. "Sir, the reason I'm calling you today... Click". Maybe they try to get you to call back and charge you a lot of money.

So get yourself another phone that allows number blocking & kwitjerbijin!

Now they're calling themselves Senior Crime Watch.  These people are total SCAMS

They've changed the Caller-ID now to read V2051339390050129321.  Answered phone 'North Precinct, fraud division' and they hung up immediately.

am getting tired of scammers calling me because I'm over 60. Just because you are over 60 doesn't mean you are stupid.

Just got a call from this number... entered it in Google, and 800Notes came up so I just let it ring. I appreciate this site so much!

Received a call today from this number; didn't answer and they left no message.  I checked them out and they have been flagged by websites that monitor scams.  No legitimate company makes unsolicited calls asking for personal information.  A legitimate company will also respect a "do not call" request.  If they call again, I will answer and let them go on for a while, then tell them they are being recorded and will be reported to the proper authorities.  These people should have a place in hell reserved just for them.

Caller ID'd this ' Senior CW ' Well, haven't got a call from this # before.No message on answer mach.,so was suspicous right away,and reading posts from you all, yep,So thats what the CW stands for,( crime watch .) Makes sense. Wow ,these  people are scum,using caller ID that reads 'Senior CW'! How many households have a ' senior ' living there? Unreal.

They won't stop.   You might consider getting a call blocking device.

I received two calls from Senior Crime Watch, the first woke me up early in the morning.  The second call came about an hour later.  I picked up to tell them not to call again, to try to get the calling stopped.  It was an actual person and not an auto bot, but when I told the deep and incoherant-voiced woman that I had not asked them to call and asked if it was a solicitation call, she growled, "shuut uup!" and hung up on me.  This call was not only an unwanted intrusion but abusive.  We also are on the Do Not Call List, yet It seems to be very ineffective as we get a lot of solicitation calls every year.  

Another one.  Same thing day in , day out.  Caller ID works best to filter these scum bags.  I can tolerate them if they get on SSI disability.  At least we would know they are a piece of crap.  I smile and go forward.  Blow a whistle sometimes.  They don't like that.  Call them bad names.  They don't like that.  Have a heck of a difficult time pleasing the callers.
