There is a device that will make you VERY happy. It comes from China (sorry) and you can get them on Amazon. they work for 1500 numbers, and your life becomes MUCH easier. Just noticed their call.  We have the entire 720 area code blocked.  Our phones do not ring when a blocked call comes in and our office is not disturbed.  We have the Digitone blocker that blocks not only individual numbers, it can block entire area codes.  We have all area codes from Washington state blocked.  Currently we have 44 area codes blocked and another 50-60 phone numbers blocked. Sadly, our Digitone Call Blocker is full!

Save your sanity - buy a call blocking phone or device.  

BTW, I understand that Digitone will be coming out with a newer model in March.  The new Digitone (when available) will operate in conjunction with the old one and will allow even more numbers and (more importantly) more area codes to be blocked.  We are a local business and rarely (if ever) do business with the east coast and Washington state.  The blocking of area codes seems to be the most beneficial for our business.

We run out of available Call Block slots on a nearly bi-monthly basis. We just clear out the oldest 10 or so to make room. Once they've been blocked for a few weeks they don't really try back. Not sure if your call-blocking phone is the same, but when they try to call it's pretty clear to them they've been blocked. Hope that helps!

Fake Google robo-call.  They call my business line at least once every day.  They have been reported to the Do Not Call database.

Yeaaah. I've received at least a dozen calls from these people over the course of a few weeks. Hang ups and immediate callbacks that just hang up again. Super annoying and I'm blocking them. Certainly something I'd like to stop!

Called over and over and I finally answered the phone today. Agent asked if I am the owner and I said " No and I have a question", agent hanged up.

I got a broken up static recording for "google" listing.

I get calls from this number all the time. They ask about my Google standing and if I am on Google maps, it is all a recording, and wants me to talk to one of their sales agents regarding improving my Google standing. It tells me to press 1 to go to an agent or 2 to be removed from the calling list. I press 2 every time and they never have removed me from the list. I keep getting the calls about same thing several times a day. It is a telemarketer obviously who will continue to bug me for ever. Driving me crazy

I have a couple of ways to deal with these parasites. First, I let the phone ring three full times before I pick up. I pick up and don't say anything for 2-3 seconds. If it is a computer autodialer, 80-90% of the time the computer will hang up thinking it has gotten a voice mail or answering machine. After 2-3 seconds, I say our company name, but don't give out my name. That way they don't automatically have a name if they call back and get someone else. If I still get a person and they insist, I tell them my name is "Richard Smith"(it's not). It is none of their business what my real name is, they are telescammers who are breaking the law. If they persist in calling over and over again, I tell them that my boss is available, and then I use a sports air horn right next to the phone. What are they going to do, sue me? "Your Honor, I was illegally telescamming and they deafened me!" Good luck with THAT argument. The judge might give me a medal. Reporting these "people"(I use that term loosely) to the Do Not Call Registry is futile, they are usually spoofing their phone number anyway. If you have the time, have some fun with them. See how long they will stay on hold or still be on the line if you put the phone down. Take your cordless into the bathroom and have an extended "deposit" at the Porcelain Bank, complete with very loud fake sound effects. Tell them you ARE the boss and listen to their sales pitch, never saying yes to anything, but always saying that you will look at your numbers and see what you can do. Some scammers will record any affirmative answer you give and then splice it into a call and bill you for whatever they are selling, using that as evidence of an order. Waste as much of their time as you can, because that keeps them from scamming other people, and it can be a really fun stress reliever! Anything that we can do to make this less profitable for these ticks on the butt of humanity is a plus. Feel free to pass this on or add to it with your fun ways of taking back your phone lines. If these idiots would get a real job, the world would be a better place for all of us.

Another idiot that called and hung up after listening to our welcome message. What is with these people ?????  Why is that phone cos keep selling # to these hackers, thieves and scammers so they can harass individuals and businesses ????  We are running a business and now have to screen every incoming call.  Stupid people.

Called twice this morning.  Robo calls.  Another one of those scammers who claim they're from Google.  Why can't these crooks be stopped

This number has called 3 times within the last 5 minutes.  I pick up and hang up and will now report them as harassing phone calls.
