They do cuss at you!!!  The loan the are coming after with us, is a student loan, which all of ours are deferred... this is a private loan that Everest University took out with out our permission and we are disputing it and have been for 4 years.  This is not a " we are over extending our credit or misusing our money " scenario... this is a  debt collecting company that will do what ever means and harass you until you are at your breaking point!

Only if you can pay the bill, I am glad they help you but they refuse to listen to us and told us that we have no idea what we are talking about. Then began to say that we make enough to pay the bill... They will argue with you to get what they want... not nice.

This company has been calling me for over a month and is very rude. Will not give any information on who they are or what they want. Wanted me to give my SS# over the phone and when I refused he got very rude and smart. they have now started calling my work and was told not to call my work# anymore by my supervisor. Now they are calling with an automated message that goes if you are _____ please hold for a very important message. This company is about to get me fired from my job.

The caller was David Bachman from The Alpha Corporation.  He was very rude, sneaky, and invasive about why he was calling.  He tried to varify the last four digits of my SSN which was wrong.  He gave this number to call back, which I did.  I told him for legal purposes, our conversation was being recorded....he quickly said thank you and hung up.  I work for the goverment, and this encounter will be investigated.

A ridiculous fellow calling himself David stating he represented Alpha Corporation claiming he desperately needed to contact a person who shared the same last name as me about an "important legal matter." He refused to answer any questions about anything unless I gave information about this other person, and did so quite rudely. It was quite a pleasure to add them to my call-block list.

The calls are recorded by the state?  What?  
I just love it when the shills accuse people of lying and stealing when that's exactly what the shills/scammers are doing themselves!

They are required by law to verify your information before they tell you the reason of the call its proprietary! And no one would ever cuss you out its against state regulations to do so and calls are monitored and recorded by the state so that's a false claim. And yes they can save you money. They settle on debts and have authority to do so. They can settle as low as 60% of the balance you owe. And yeah they call alot PAY YOUR BILLS! WHY SIGN UP FOR A CARS AND NOT pay? That's stealing lol people who steal money and open cards without ever paying are scammers themselves

These folks are calling extended and ex family members, even told one that they  I had given them as a reference....also trying to verify address when they have the address just trying to be nosey and  embarassing at that point

This number has been calling me looking for a Nancy. I have been the only person who has used my phone number and constantly told them to stop calling me. I missed a call today, so I called back and left a message telling them to take my number off of their list. They called AGAIN and I told them to take me off of the f****ng list, so the guy started cussing me out. I hung up. Whoever this company is, they should be shut down.

Keep getting ccalls from Justin even though I told him the person he's looking for died last June.  He said he wasn't paid to be nice and he would continue calling.

No debt collector is ever helpful, I think you ARE a collector.

I seriously doubt your message is true. Do you perhaps work for a scammer? A name like "not a scam" screams scam.

Got a call claimed could help me ended up settling an old credit card debt for 50% of what i owed.  Very nice guy.  Never talked to a bill collector that was so nice and polite.  if this guy calls you talk to him.  It saved me over 7 thousand dollars

The caller ID on the phone always shows up as "Private name, Private number", also.

Got a call from a "Jess Wood", from "Alpha Recovery Corporation" said "he could help me".  Have gotten similar calls from different phone numbers, same routine.
