It is an advertising by fax company, it seems.  I am in an LA burb, with a 562 area conde, and the fax was for a local number 310 591 9129, but came from the Colorado number.

They call.  I don't answer.  They leave a recorded message about picking up a fax on my cell number.  I have gotten a lot of calls from this area code 720-606 and then the last 4 numbers are always changing.  I block 1 number and then they use another.  Such a waste of my time!!

Seem like a fax tone?  It locks up my fax machine and I have to power off and restart it.  Area codes 303 and 720 are telephone area codes serving the north-central portion of the state of Colorado. They cover Denver, Boulder, Longmont, Aurora, Castle Rock and most of the Front Range

I got the same pinging. This jerk called me at 5 in the morning!

just got a call and when I answered it there was just pinging in the background,no one there.
