As soon as I saw "Netprowa" on the caller ID, I simply picked up the handset and dropped it back down. No amount of filing complaints gets rid of these scum. I will add this number to my growing "Netprowa" list. They also call from these numbers:

It's always a "fax" noise. Like others have said, do not ever put your number on a to be removed list. This will put your number on a live list and more scamming scum will bother you.

Junk fax from "Southern Funding Corp"

These guys show up every few months.   Another business loan outfit.  Press #1 to speak to a rep & apply for a loan.  If you e-mail them to opt out you will never get rid of them once they have your
e-mail.  Don't answer and click delete.  One thing I have learned the robo-calls & internet is full of cons.

Got a call from NETPROWA at 6:58 AM in the morning, and this ain't the first time. To stop the call I pick up the phone and like many others on this post, just hear a series of beeps. We too are on Do Not Call Registry, but doesn't stop this idiot--are they trying to send a fax?? I don't have a fax machine that works....

We got a call this morning at 4:39am that unwanted fax call woke up my young kids and a baby.  I am on the donot call list how do I suit this number?

Although the ID shows NetProWa it's a phony fax distribution company. I've seen similar faxes from other "business financial services" just like this. It's got to be a scam because they change their name every couple of months, and use the same fax format. It would be great if we could fight these people, but I've complained to the FCC, and the Do Not Call agency and nothing works. Every year I send my stack of faxes to my state attorney general and nothing is done. I've blocked many of the numbers on my phone but there's only so many I can. As previous posters have suggested, write to your congressperson about it.

When I got home and checked my messages I had one from this number ("NetProwa") but all it did was beep.  It didn't sound like a fax machine beep, but maybe it is with all the new fangled contraptions out there these days.

In any case, I blocked the number from being able to call again.

Fax Spam from Simple Business Funding. Call came in at 6:10AM. Says you can call 888-261-0361 to be removed. Odd... That's the same number as the fax ID that sent the fax.

Junk Fax for some paving company...  The fax is so unreadable, you cannot read the phone numbers...  Of course the have the dubious number to call to have your number removed...  These seldom work, and they often just use the info to sell your number as a "known" good number...  Our phone system logged the caller ID as 720-685-6282..  Surprised that they didn't spoof the caller id... Most do...

Just got a call from this number @10:20am, let it go to voicemail and yep, just beeps. Will have to look more closely at the info posted in the comment above mine.

Interesting, look at all of the comment dates- are the calls increasing in frequency or are we just becoming more inclined to search for the number on the internet as time goes by?

If we really want these calls to stop, the answer is really simple.  Contact your congressmen about changing the law.  Currently the FCC and FTC can fine these companies but the problem is, the owners and operators are protected as the company is an LLC.  So the company gets the fines and the fact is, when they get caught, they will just shut the company down and thus the FCC and FTC don?t see a dime and even if they do, it won?t be much anyway.  The owners and operators have already made their money and will just start a new company tomorrow and continue to make money.  Until the law is changed, this cycle will just repeat itself.  What needs to be done is that the law needs to be changed to make what they do from a civil infraction to a criminal.  This way the owners and operators of these companies cannot just close the doors and walk away, they will be on the hook for the fines and they will also serve time in jail.  This would be the biggest threat to them; their financials and their liberty is at risk for running a telemarketing company like they do.  The issue still comes to finding them, but when they are caught, it is not just a slap on the wrist.  The owners, operators and employees all need to be brought to justice for their crimes.  So ask your representatives to change the law and make illegal telemarketing truly illegal and punishable by fines and prison time.  You should also contact people on the telecommunication committee that can actually write the law for it to be voted on.  When they get sick of hearing the complaints, maybe something will be done about it.

Same as the others. This number calls a business line and it sounds like a fax or modem tone. Telemarketing scammers.

I have a bizfax at work, so I opted to have the fax forwarded from my cell phn VM to my bizfax, just to see what it is. it's some "Short Term Business Loan offer, with a phone number to call for a "no-obligation quote" and at the bottom lists 888-261-0361 to have your number removed from their fax list. ha! I just put the 720 number as "Add to reject list" in my cell phone. I'm not calling anyone back to "remove" my number.

This sounds like a fax...but won't allow it to fax me :) They can knock themselves out til Hades freezes and they'll NEVER get a hold of me...like NEVER!!!!  :)

This number  720-685-6282 shows up on my caller ID but the fax is a copy of a loan check. The 800 number on the check to call is a dating line. Theses b*****ds need to be stopped. This is been going on for months and i pay for each fax sent to be from Efax service.
