Claims to be representing AT&T and want to speak with the owner (business phone).  Told them they could reach the owner at a different store location and they asked ME for the number there.  Mind you all of the stores are on the same account with AT&T, but he said they didn't have any other store numbers on file.  I told him that if he was really with att, he should have no problem accessing any phone number on the account, and to stop calling.  Now they still call EVERY DAY, but as soon as I answer they hang up.  Shady, I don't trust them at all.

Calls every day...Several times a day...Claims to be a rep. for AT&T and wants to double my internet speed for 90 days free. Starngely they want my email address so they can put in writing. Sounds like a scam to me.

Wow, suing them.  Yeah, that'll solve everything.  Suing someone who calls you on the phone and you believe you deserve millions of dollars???  Man people are stupid now a days.

Oh and folks, you don't go to the FCC.  The FCC regulates TV and radio stations.  They wouldn't be able to help you.

I noticed they were hiring for their downtown Denver location (would love to work downtown again) and as I do with all companies, did internet research.  I came across this message board and had to respond.

Even though I would love to work downtown again, and unfortunately this appears to be the one and only job available in downtown Denver, I'll be passing these folks up.  Another red flag is the ENTIRE application process must be completed at their downtown location.  Apparently completing an online application is unacceptable.  Looks like I won't be working here.

yes TMG is in partner with AT&T. But the things that they pull to keep their contract with AT&T should be against the law.

They can't keep calling if you've requested numerous times to STOP calling.  Since they keep calling our business, that IS ILLEGAL!  We have also requested through AT&T directly that they not include us with any marketing/sales calls because of the problems we've had with third party telemarketers changing things without any authorization!

All of you have to understand that what TMG Marketing is doing is perfectly legal, or else they wouldn't be doing it.  If you're planning to sue them, you're just going to lose your money.  TMG is outsourced by AT&T and has their entire customer database to call and sell.  You already have AT&T service so that's not illegal and does not fit under DNC restrictions.

All of the calls where there is just silence or they hang up is because all of the phones run off of computers and automatic dialers.  They never leave you a message because they are told they cannot leave any messages.  They cannot recieve inbound calls so there is no point to leave a message.  

Now if your business is large enough to be assigned an "account manager" from TMG, they can be somewhat helpful, yet they're bottom line goal is sales of new products.

Is TMG annoying? Yes.  Is TMG a telemarketer? Yes.  Are they doing anything illegal? No.

believe it or not tmg marketing is actually contracted by att, which means there basically business partners. i looked into it after someone called me from tmg. the person was very aggresive when it came to his sale tactics but he ended up lowering my bill about 50$ and upgrading my dsl, which i much appreciated.

They are never there when I answer, just silence until I say "Hello, TMG Marketing" then they hang up. They call everyday to our work and never say anything. I tried to call the number back 720.932.2821 to ask to be removed from the list and it's a full voice mail.

Did you ck with AT&T to verify they are with them?   I did, they are NOT with AT&T.  They are very agressive in their sales...they 'pretend' to be AT&T but they are a separate company NOT affliated with AT&T.  I do not have allegiance or loyalty to AT&T, but I do not appreciate being 'lied' too from any company.  When did deception become the basis for securing business??  IF a company cannot get customers in an honest manner...they need to review their business practices.

Ahhh you must work for them judging by the thumbs down ratings on all the other posts and then ending in your "I don't have a problem with them." Your a moron, these people are making harrassing calls on a daily basis to my place and I intend to get our legal department involved.

I havent had any issues with this TMG Marketing.. ya they call alot, but  They've called, renewed my account with at&t.. My bills did come in at the rate promised.. ive called the number back.. and verified the employee ID number the rep gave me.. they are contracted witn at&t..

I put our business on the Do Not Call List because these ppl call incessantly. Just got another one from them, so apparently they don't have to follow the rules like everyone else?

I am now turning ALL of these kind of telemarketing scum over to the FCC. I file a complaint for every call they bother me with. Maybe when the FCC gets a thousand letters to match the thousand calls I get from these jerks, MAYBE they will fine them, or do their job and shut them down.

I have video of my conversation with them.  I have two lines.  They call both.  It's unbelievable.  I'm suing them. 800 Service and TMG Marketing are their names, or at least those are the names that come up.

I get a call from this # every day on my bus. line. Usually they just hang up or when prompted to leave a message they press the keys so all i get on the machine is beep beep beep. I am on the "do not call list" apparently they do not have to abide by this.

They do not leave messages on answering machine/voicemail.
I answered a call last week; The man asked by name for person on phone listing--I told him that person not available and requested his name and number so call could be returned.  He said his name was Jonathan O'Hare and gave # 1-866-986-1279; He said he was calling on behalf of AT&T and that was not a solicitation.  Since last week, TMG Marketing has called 5 more times---not leaving any message/voicemail.

got a call from this number again today on my work phone (that's the fourth time in five business days). Every time they just hang up. The caller ID doesn't list a name. I'm pretty sure 720 is Colorado, though? I actually left a voicemail for the number. I called back and it said "i'm sorry, extension 2821 is not available. leave a message after the tone." I did, but I doubt they'll call me back.

Caller ID came up with the number (720) 932-2821 and TMG Marketing.  The woman on the line wanted to speak to the person in charge of the A T & T bill.  When I asked what it was regarding she wanted to confirm our company information.  I told her that I would not give out any information because her company came up as TMG Marketing and not A T & T.  I told her to take our company off her list and I hung up on her.

Says they are AT&T but the caller ID says other wise(TMG Marketing).

Wanting to upgrade my supposed "DSL" service, when the thing is, I don't have any AT&T services. So how they got my number I do not know.

Same thing happens to me- has anybody had success in getting them to stop calling???

Got a call from these guys - again. That makes 4 times now. Always the same: AT&T wanting to upgrade our DSL service. Wanted our fax # to send us a confirmation letter. Have never received one, but our DSL service was, in fact, upgraded. I would imagine that it was legit, but (a) why never send the fax to confirm, and (b) why would they keep calling each month?

They called our office claiming to be our representative from AT & T - the caller ID shows "TMG Marketing". When I told him my boss isn't available and he is the only one authorized to speak to him, he kept asking for a secondary person to speak to. I refused and he said he'll try back for my boss. Sounds like a scam to me too -- Why from a marketing place and not from AT & T?
