This is 20/20 Tax Resolution in Broomfield, CO.  I went to the trouble to research all these types of companies.  Names, addresses, google research, BBB research, and in some cases supreme court research.  Thousands of people hire these companies every month.  I tried to be as impartial as I could, ?just the facts.?  Some of them have multiple locations, and some of them have multiple names in the same location.  14 Linked reviews for all the companies are at the bottom of the article.

If you want to read the article, google ?Why 20/20 tax resolution called 720-974-9232? and scroll through the results until you see:  irsbacktaxhelp.wordpress.com and click, might be on the second page of results.  It will help spread the word.

He left a message. Something about there being "great news regarding our state taxes". He asked for the owner or CEO of the company to call him back.

I am glad I checked-almost bothered the president of our company with this. Same call as reported above-good news about his IRS matter.

Your company is supposed to follow the law and not call people before 8 am. I have it recorded on my caller id that your company called me yesterday before 7:30 am. I called your company yesterday, since I was contacted 2 times by this company, and was told it was probably just a wrong #. Today, I received yet another call from this #. When I answered, a man asked if I was a roofing company. When I asked who he was, he was rude and replied, "I just need to know if this is the roofing company or not." When I said no, he ended the call. I just called your company again, and requested my # not be called. If it is called again, I will definately make complaint, with the proof I have, to the proper authorities.
I do understand that you guys are just trying to make a living, as I have done collections for many years. And, I would rather people work for a living. But, after my request, I hope that your company acts proffessionally and does not contact me again.
Thank you,
P

Same as the others.  An "important tax matter" regarding a "State Tax lien".  We are on a payment plan with the state for a late filing.  We don't require additional assistance from a company 10 states away.

"Suzy Wurtz" of 20/20 on a Tax Matter. Yeah Right. I pay my taxes and I don't have a "Tax Matter" I'm tired of the calls and I'm on the Gov's Do Not Call Registry. Yeah, like 2020 is abiding by that memo...!

Received a call from these folks in regards to a Federal 941 Lien placed with the Local Clerk & Recorders Office.  These folks scour the records and contact business and individuals that have liens placed on their files. Some simple advise. Fact: If the IRS doesn't take civil action with three (3) years prior to the tax year filing deadline, they are limited in what they can do. If the lien stays for ten (10) years and isn't paid, the fed's are required to remove it from your credit files automatically.  These guys are merely promissing you thay can handle your situation.  Received the standard line from them about how they can abate my taxes and have me paid very little in the form of an Offer and Compromise with the IRS for pennies on the dollar. NOT TRUE. Federal law limits what the IRS can actually abate and compromise on. These idiots didn't even know how much was involved. I then received a copy of the lien - $600.00. So they wanted $1500.00 to make a $600.00 lien go away!!! Then I told them that the penalites for another tax year was approximately $4300.00. They wanted $7000.00 to make $4300.00 go away. And there was no guarantee they could actually do any of this. It makes more sense for me to pay the penalty, and do an Installment Program for the $4300.00.

P.S.: The IRS knows that 64% of the people whjo are told "NO" will accept "NO." Why not simply search the web, understand your rights, send them a copy of the Memorandum and 3 Year Ruling by the courts, then make your case. You may not win, but at least you didn't pay a boat load of money to someone who is limited in what they can actually do for you in the first place! Same with those credit repair houses! Best bet is to educate youself, know your rights, and if necessary seek assistance from a Tax Attorney!

Called on my business line at 7 am, caller ID said 20/20 Financial.  Some individual started in with a sales pitch and when I told him I wasn't interested and to put me on his do not call list, he became extremely rude and made comments that the State had filed a lien on my business and only he could take it off before it ruined my credit.  No such lien exists (per my attorney) and my credit monitoring.  If I need legal services I sure won't hire someone cold caller over the phone who is 1000 miles away.

720-974-9232: James from 20/20 called "regarding a serious tax matter.  Need to speak with CEO of your company" - um, not.  Knew it was a sales call.  Did not let this guy get through to anyone here.  When I asked what state this matter was in regards to, he said New York (which is where our main office is)  We've been in the same office for over 11years & get audited regularly.  SALES CALL.
They just called us.

Same owner inquiry for a tax matter that was very serious. I told him the owner is on vacation this week and possibly next... he happens to actually be on vacation. I told him I wasn't sure when he'd be back, which I'm not. Our boss is one of those pop in types to make sure we're doing what we're supposed to. I asked for his contact info and said I would email it to my boss and he could contact them if necessary and he refused to give it to me. So I asked pretty annoyed, "You have an important matter to discuss with my boss and you don't want to give me your contact info?". He gave some excuse about not knowing when he would be in the office and said he would try again. I said a very snotty, "well good luck catching him" and the call was over. Figured it had to be BS since the number was a Colorado number, so I came over and googled it. Good to know my instincts were right. Glad this site exists!

20/20 Financial has called us repeatedly. Some guy named "John" he has been asked to stop calling. I would NEVER recommend  a company(to the owner) that leave messages about a important tax matter but can't seem to stop "yakking" it up with co-workers long enough to leave a professional sounding message. The last time he called(today) he was laughing and so engaged in conversation that he didn't even know I had answered the phone. When I bought it to his attention he said " SO WHAT YOU HAVE SERIOUS TAX MATTERS.. YOU WANT HELP OR NOT" I asked him not to call back and I hung-up and he continued to call 2 more times. He said he would continue to call until he spoke to the owner.I asked to speak to a Supervisor and he "no you can't and hung-up on me. I called back got a Supervisor  explained all...no more calls so far we'll see. This company obviously is not doing much business because who has time to call a potential customer and harass them if they are busy. Good luck to them and whomever is unlucky enough to use their services!

There is no such person as John Stennecker anywhere in the State of Colorado or the State of California.  It's an alias.  Searches in well known and highly credible databases were run under the names of Stennecker, Stenecker, Stenucker, and Stennucker.  No such person.

the company is 20/20 financial, a tax advisory company out of colorado. you can google them. they called my husband's office - he's an attorney - and I happened to be there and answer the call. they were trying to sell a tax package with "legal assistance" - like he really needs that. I asked them not to call again.  then they began calling my business but asking for the person who handles taxes for my husband's firm (i'm a communications consultant, not an accountant or anything). i repeatedly told them they had the wrong number and they continued to call for days. i will be going back to their web site and reporting the attorneys on staff to the colorado bar for harrassment.

Just received a call from this number looking for some company.  They are calling an elderly person with a residential line.  I have no idea why I am on their list.  Hopefully, they do not continue to harrass.  I plugged in their number online to see where the call originated from and ended up here looking at complaints from others.

Hi, I got a call from a very abrubt man, asking for the owner of the company. I asked him which company and he knew the answer. I was confused since I work for a Fortune 1000 company and no one has ever asked for that before. He said he had tax issue to discuss, blah blah blah.  He was very abrupt and rude. I just directed him to our website and told him to look there for the number he needed.  He said he would do that and hung up.

PS, I called the company back after I called the nuisance division of our telephone company and gave them the number of the caller and learned they are a Denver based company.  My next step is the Denver Police Department.  The receptionist played dumb, and gave me to the supervisor, Luke who I told that I had reported them to the nuisance division of our telephone company and told him to take me off the "list" and that if they call again, that I will do the same. He had the nerve to want to see if he could help in any other way, and I told him he probably would not want to know how he could help, and told him they were not to call EVER again.  The company answered as 20/20 Tax resolution services.  Some nerve!

A man called wanting to speak to the owner of our company.  I asked him who he was and what the nature of his call was.  He continued to claim that he had to speak tot he owner of the owner of the company, and I told him that would not happen until I knew the nature of his call.  I told him I managed all company affairs and that anything he wanted to know he could discuss with me and again asked him the nature of his call. He then claimed that he had private information he could not discuss with employees. He then told me there was a state tax lien against our company.  I told him he was full of c**p, then he claimed he was looking at the lien, I told him again he was full of c**p, then one more time for good luck, and he hung up on me!
