Got a call. Answered and they hung up.

These guys get names/numbers from public records and then track people down who have tax liens or other issues with tax debt.  I have no idea if they are legit or not, having a slick looking website means nothing.  I do know that they guy who called me told me he did not have an email address and could not send me an email.  Certainly seemed shady to me.  Bottom line - use  common sense, don't give any personal info to anyone before you get all the details and know who they are. If they won't send you an email and put their offer in writing first, say 'no thank you' and hang up.

same thing, I let the answering machine pick it up, I don't answer strange phone calls anyway. But the phone on the id said 720-974-9239. The man said his name was Philip Gamber and that he was with 2020 tax resolution. However we own a small business and our home phone number is absolutely not our company phone number. Also the number he said to reach him back at regarding the tax issues is at 1-888-272-3850 his ext. number is 305. I would never call a number like this back for anything and I would never give them any information and they made the mistake by calling our home phone number.

Called at 6:46am, did not answer as I did not recognize the number and they would have heard an earful for calling so early.  They did not leave a message.

Called said it is Federal Tax matter and left a phone # 888-272-3850 with extension number to call back.

This company, 20/20, called the office where I work at 12:51pm Pacific today and asked for the owner. The call back number left was (888) 272-3850. This appears to be a legitimate company that helps consumers and businesses with tax debt. Their website is: http://www.2020taxresolution.com
