Just got a call asking to speak to the business owner by first name. I advised they were out of office and they gave me another number to call 844-872-3864 ext 121 name was Auggie.  said they were calling about our state tax issue and I asked what state he was calling from and he said he was calling concerning our Indiana tax issue...went around in circles.  they have called several times

Just got a call from 2020, with number 720-974-9245. I didn't answer. Checked them out instead and found this. My voicemail is screwed up, so I can't retrieve messages. Just as well...

Got the same call everyone else is describing. Didn't both calling back as it is obviously a scam.  Thanks for the input. Saved me from another stupid sales call.

Whenever they ask to speak to "the business owner" I hang up.  Then they called back and said "I don't know if we got cut off" then I slammed the phone down harder.  That took care of that.

Absolutely the lowest of the low in scam telemarketers. I've purposely never picked up for them, as I think that feeds the fire. However, the messages are very pointed and abusive, about a tax issue.I have reported this number. You should do the same. Do not pick up, since all that I have read indicates that it gets them more involved and more persistent. It always shows as co. name: 2020 and number is 720-974-9242. Very obnoxious Hispanic sounding guy who says he is in his office ( which is hilarious, given he is probably in a dialing center).

This is obviously a criminal scam. I just moved here from another state and got a call on my new 10 day old residential number that no one knows about. I do not have a business that can have a lien on it.

This is a very creepy telemarketer who will leave voicemails to the effect that they can help with a pending tax lien involving you. DO NOT pick up. I haven't and I think they've given up, whereas if you engage with these people at all, they call back. Yes, the number ID's as 720-974-9242, some company called 2020. I am registered on donotcall.gov, so I just report them there. I highly recommend that tool as a way to avoid unwanted call.

Received the same call as everyone else posted from phone number 720-974-9242.  He said his name was Grant Marks with 2020 and there is a serious matter regarding federal taxes on my company from last Friday.  No such matter exists for my company.

Received the same call as the previous comments. The individual claimed my company had a federal tax lien of $1109. When I questioned him more about this, he could not give me an additional information except that they use a third party research firm. I just have to assume it was a scam.

The business is in Florida.... we do NOT have state taxes... obviously bogus.  Just ignored them.  Waste of time.

Rcvd call from this number, caller ID as 2020.  Asked to sw the owner, told them to call back next week, they chuckled and hung up.  I then filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.

Rec'd a call asking if I had received a letter from the IRS concerning a lien on my property.  Said they could help me out.  I told them I didn't know what they were talking about and I didn't owe the IRS anything!!!  Quickly hung up.  Must be a scam call.

Same as DL received a call about good news for our state tax lien, but Florida doesn't have state tax. So this is BS, wast of time.  Called ID is 2020

Very harrassing call.   He claimed that we had a 22,000 tax lien filed on us and they could help. I told him that I wasn't interested in working with him and hung up. He called back 3 times after I hung up on him.  I didn't talk too long with him, but I suspect he would try to get personal info. SCAM!!!!!!!

Even if you insult them they will keep calling every day. Everyone who receives calls from these people should report them to the authorities

Thanks to everyone reporting this number.  We need to keep it up as there are scam artists bombarding American citizens (unfortunately, fellow Americans and foreign nationals ) to gain pertinent information such as our names and social security numbers to rip us off.  Let's keep on reporting every time it happens.

Someone named Sherri Brookshire called saying she had good news about a tax matter.
She left a call back # of 855.953.1470 x265. I don't have a tax matter.

A guy Call today from 720-9749242, ask for the company owner and says that they are from 2020 financial about a tax lien on the corporation which we don't know about, I just tell them that I don't know what he was talking about and hung up. they already call 2 time's how can get rid of this type of people or companies that used this number.

A guy called from this number and when I explained that he had dialed a whong number, he started to question me who I was and attemped two different names. When I insisted that it was "a wrong number," he contined asking me questions in a very annoying and pushy manner. I hang up on him. I think he needs to be reported.

Repeatedly calls for the owner, when told unavailable says they will call back.  We have requested no less than 3 times that they do not call us and he always answers he'll call back and hangs up.  We've had 3 calls just today.

Left a recording of dead silence on machine...call ID only showed the number, no description or name.

Probably a tax season scam, the IRS has warnings about them.  If your business did have tax issues you would have received notification from the IRS by US Mail long before any lien was ever filed and your business would be well aware of any problems.
