Left no message. Just phishing around. A scam
Bo 2014-05-22 03:51:40 Unknown
after 2 weeks of peace & quiet (after all the usual scammers decided to stop bugging us) a whole slew of calls from new #'s have started coming in-- this is one of them :P
My solution 2014-04-26 17:10:03 Unknown
I have a phone system that allows me to block numbers. The phone does ring once, but I know immediately it is one of my blocked numbers that I have stored.
By the way, I have over 25 numbers blocked. All sales people.

I called the 724-222-5040 and actually spoke with someone.. told him to remove me immediately from the list as I was tired of answering the phone and no one says anything.. I am more than happy to help with a survey if I feel I will benefit from it. BUT I WILL NOT PUT UP WITH THEM WASTING MY TIME SAYING NOTHING! THEY HAVE TO MEET A CALL QUOTA I AM SURE.

Yes 'Lucy' they are exempt.

Answered everything incorrectly. Bad numbers will mess them up.

Thanks for doing the research. A very nice lady said she would take me off the list.
Next time, they get the Air Horn !

This number calls our home multiple times per day. Very annoying at first, now it is just plain old harassment.

Called today at 4:40 PM. Instantly going on the blacklist. IMO the name is an intentional attempt to mislead people into believing it's a call from a company they've done business with in the past.
Sudz 2014-02-04 00:03:00 Telemarketer
Just another telemarketer. I always fill out FCC complaints about these people and I don't believe it does a lick of good. The government clearly can't be bothered to enforce their own laws, and certainly these scammers don't care about following the law so we private citizens just have to keep putting up with it. I'm afraid there is no way out, aside from disconnecting one's phone. I actually called Verizon the other day to ask what can be done to block phone calls from 'Unknown name' and 'Private' and such, and they said there is NOTHING that can be done to block these. Sigh.

I know these people are just trying to make a living at what they do but the company they work for or any other company call on Sunday. This is the Lord's day, keep it holy. Do not call my home on Sunday. There is nothing you have to offer that won't keep another day.

CID said Customer Contact. I don't answer any of these junk calls. This one came in at 8:45 PM. Ten minutes earlier a call from the medical alert device scammers. Same scammers I think. I just let all of them ring. I never answer unless I know who is calling but it doesn't stop them from trying.
Sick of UNWANTED CALLS 2013-12-26 18:34:16 Survey
I had my hands full of laundry coming up the steps from the basement as the phone rang & rang. I broke my neck trying to get to it for it to stop just to see it is an UNWANTED CALL. I am on the FTC DNC list. If anyone wants answers to a survey, send it in the mail!! DO NOT CALL ME. I am on the list for a reason. I have a sick relative in this house that needs rest. I am NOT going to make a long distance call to ASK them NOT TO CALL ME!! They should not be calling me to begin with!! I may need the outgoing line for 911 not some survey company! MARLIN Take that back to your company!

It is bad enough to be bothered during the week, but these morons call on Sundays too, and that's an invasion of family time. Thanks to the other people who have posted info. Now I won't wonder if these calls are spam, I will KNOW they are.
Paul Koronka 2013-12-14 01:15:47 Unknown
Have no idea who this is! I won't answer it
fed up 2013-12-11 02:19:13 Unknown
I have a better idea answer the survey but give them the wrong or inaccurate answers to every question. Fun and screws up their results.
jdianne 2013-12-01 18:20:14 Unknown
Just called on a Sunday afternoon. Didn't pick up, of course, and no message left on machine. Honestly, used to be that you could at least get a break from all these people on Sunday!

Rec'd call at 11:10am on Sat. 11/16/13 ... Caller ID read "Washington PA"
RECORDED voice started by asking 'have you participated in a survey in the last month ... press 1 for yes, 2 for no, 3 for don't know" ... Since the RECORDING did not identify: caller, company, that call was a survey or provide any other information that would have even remotely enticed me to participate ... I disconnected and blocked the number.
Survey calls are allowed under DNC rules, but isn't the caller is still obligated to (a) be a live person and (b) provide some form of identity and purpose details? Guidelines/rules for conducting legitimate telephone surveys all require "identification of caller" and participant's "informed consent" before conducting survey. A RECORDED message is perceived as an intrusion into privacy, a scam or potential harvesting of phone numbers to be passed on to who knows what & where.

The Do Not Call list is only for businesses that try to sale a product or service that you have no contact with to begin with. Surveys are not selling products or services, so they are exempt as well as political calls.

Customer Contact Survey. The man who called was mumbling so badly I couldn't understand him. When I told him that he didn't even sound interested in what he was saying, he sucked his teeth at me. I decided to say "thanks, anyway" and hung up.

I received a call this afternoon and let my answering machine answering becaus3 is showed up as Customer Contact. They just hung up. I just these calls would stop. I have been getting these calls now for over a month now. It is getting annoying.
YMan 2013-08-03 00:51:54 Unknown
I think tonight was my first call from this number. The caller ID just has "CUSTOMER CONTAC" & the phone number. Thanks again "Do Not Call" registry for enjoying our tax dollars while doing nothing to prevent this.
