I want these robo calls to stop....they are push polls and they are disingenous and manipulative...

I am having these calls with no message left. They frighten becasue my number is unlisted. These are several calls without messages!

Got a call this evening at 7:52 pm from this number.....didn't answer call.....they didn't leave message.

The phone companies will usually allow you to block up to 15 numbers without charging you.....beyond that you can still add numbers but each additional number has a monthly fee.  Problem is, many of these pests call from multiple different numbers.  So you see, even the phone companies are making money on these people.  Your best bet is to carry your phone with you around the house and if it rings and you don't recognize the number you have three options, 1. don't answer at all  2. answer and immediately hit the disconnect and 3. (my favorite) answer and say nothing, it takes no time at all for them to disconnect.

Unfortunately the national do not call list is not worth much........there are too many exceptions. The list of those who can call even those who are ON the do not call list contains:

Political Parties
Charities (any and all charities)
Financial Institutions (banks and other financial entities)

and here's the really nasty one........absolutely Any PERSON or any COMPANY you have ever done business with, no matter how long ago.

Sooooo..........you tell me, what good is the do not call registry?  It's fairly useless.

Called the telephone number found on the Mike Huckabee website and was given the following number to have my number removed from their call list: 877-314-1332. The number needs to be called from the telephone receiving the calls and just have to enter a number when prompted. I just did this today so I don't have any idea how well it works.

Yea,Its Huckabee.I called the number and signed the petition to stop Obama care.Anything to stop Obams and his Cloward&Piven socialist plans.I have never been a fan of communism aor socialism and will do what I can to stop it.I am glad I got this phone call.

I got a call from these IDIOTS today.Soon as I heard the name I hung up.I do not vote and do not believe in any party as they are all a bunch of puppets for jews and jew lobbies like aipac.These people need to leave average people in this country alone.

called 7/11 at 12:06, 11:48, 10:57, 9:53 and 7/13 at 3:37.  I left a not so nice message on his website contact form about 10 times.  I stated if the calls continue I will be standing in front of FOX studios with a poster that states how he harasses with phone calls.

Aargh...  I too am on the do not call list and received this call...  What he's trying to do makes me angry on top of it, so I especially wish the do not call list would work a bit better than this.  Maybe if everyone on this site wrote or called Mike Huckabee directly complaining of his robo-call, that would help it stop.

This call is actually from the national committee of faith family and prayer and the recording is of Mike Huckabee. He/they are upset about not having a prayer breakfast and are blaming "filthy atheists". They want me to donate to fight a war against atheists. They blame atheists for our nations problems then say if atheists have their way kids wont be able to pray at school, be forced to learn homosexual history and no longer be able to recite the pledge of allegiance. I have asked every time they call to take me off their list. I asked again and was told they won't take my number off the list, that they are exempt from the do not call registry. I find the last message very offensive and full of hate against atheists and gays.

The call was a political call. Typical, exempt themselves from the Do Not Call List.

It is Mike Huckabee and they are trying to get money to repeal health care laws. I told them that the new laws would benefit people like my some who was hit by a pickup truck while riding his bicycle and would otherwise be uninsurable.They said that's nice. It strikes me that they are on the wrong path here and I wonder why it is they can call me to get money for something that is bad for America. I'm on the do-not-call list and this is not charity. Quite the contrary.

Unfortunately, polititians are except from the do not call list - darn. I hate those calls. They are usually recorded messages, so there is no one to talk to to tell them to get you off the list.

They called today and said to press "1" to repeal Obama Care and "2" ... garbled words.  I don't know why they're calling me since I haven't voted for a Republican for President since 1976.  Even though I'm on the Do Not Called List, it is legal for political calls to be made.
