Scammer/debt collector stole or received info from Star Nissan in Greensburg or Nissan itself. Now Nissan has been hacked multiple times from 2011-2013. Either case it's a pain for the consumer to protect themselves after it happens. This scammer/debt collector tried selling 3rd party warranties to my fiance for our brand new Xterra. He had her info, but wanted to know the miles on our Xterra to pitch his sell tactic and try to trick her. She declined, but he insisted. Luckily she just hung up on him. I contacted our dealer and they had a few cases like this, and even one customer was scammed out of $300. If you receive weird calls like this, do not pick up or just hung up. The easiest way to get rid of these scumbags is to block their number. If you cannot block their number, contact the attorney general for your state and file a complaint. If the problems still continues, contact the FCC (FCC.gov) and file a complaint. If these methods still do not work...I suggest you ask a lawyer or hire a lawyer to go after these scumbags.
