No, "UCAN" is not a scam..it's a legit business controlling harrassing debt collectors. I am one of their satisfied customers who feels the collection calls need to be regulated and controlled.

UCAN is not a scam operation. It is a company that helps reduce harrassing collection calls made to customers while the customers are paying off CC debts on a sceduled payment arrangement. Some of the collection calls are automated calling 10 times a day, and some of the calls come through countries who have difficulty communicating in English. The collection company calls need to be controlled and regulated....they make commission on unpaid debt.

i'm not employed by them by they do have my CC accounts with them. I do pay them each month to collect from me and pay the credit card companies in a lumpsum but as a settlement. So, it's def not a scam. I was recomended to these company by a financial advisor to straighten my financials.

Sounds like this "UCAN" is a scam. Clearly "Desc" is employed by them.

that is not at all what UCAN does because for your information the customers/clients are paying their debt they are just going thru a hard time with doing that. They protect the debtors from being harrassing to the customer because not everyone is perfect and just needs some help. Get your story straight before you go bad mouthing a company that you know nothing about.

received call from female who refused to identify herself and then hung up
this happened 3x- turns out this is UCAN (united consumer advocacy network)
this place is a joke of a "network" that specializes in teaching consumers elaborate ways to bait creditors into violations of collection law to then
in turn sue these companies to get their customers out of satisfying their debts all the while claiming it is done under the erroneous umbrella of "protecting their rights" and leveraging them out of their obligations
lunacy at its finest
