I was told by Verizon Wireless that I am getting calls from someone in a foreign country.

The calls are almost every day and about having my credit card interests lowered.  They

hang up, when I say take me off of your call list.

I do not answer unknown numbers; caller does not leave voicemail; this has been going on for too long. STOP!

These posts are all the same as what I experience on a daily basis. The numbers are 1609078542, 16018009074, 17269018575, or 16205047452.

I am on a campaign to STOP THESE DIRT BAGS. I am coming to do that by notifying you and others to "call and complain to your mobile phone provider" .... mine is T-Mobile. I promise that if enough subscribers do that, the provide will provide a way to block those calls "without paying extra". Does everybody get that???? Lets get together and do that.

This is an international #unfortunately if you do answer  you will be shocked like I was once you get your phone bill. I accidentally answered as I was anticipating a call back from a legitimate busit(as they called my cell phone)  No one spoke at first all I could here was background noise then some guy with an accent said that he was returning my call regarding a purchase I had made online.I said excuse me but I have never bought anything online he then said "you dd now".

Arrived, I had a $749 charge on it associated with this number Sprint did a record check and found out it was from the lesser Antilles .a scam. Luckily they waived the charge.

several times these callers are from some credit card people looking for information too scam u out of your money. the call back number was check the number and try again not a working number.. the person told me too take me off the calling list i told them i did he told me FO

Sprint user here...I just keep blocking these credit card scam calls one after another. I dont even have a credit card. AmEx only and the balance is paid monthly.

Thinking it was a business call I answered before I saw number.  I must have sounded gruff they did not speak so I hung up!  Moments later I got a call from (876) 352-1758 ID showed Jamaica!  Do not answer!!!

Here's a quick and free way to send these calls straight to voicemail so you don't even have to hear them ring your phone.  This works for Android phones, I don't know about iPhone but I'm sure there is a similar feature.  

I created a contact and named it "blocked".  You can name this contact whatever you please. (Telemarketer, Scammer, Low life, etc.)  While creating the contact, select your menu, and check off "All calls to voicemail".  Now, any number associated with this contact will not even ring on your phone and will be forwarded directly to your voicemail.  In my experience, NONE of them have left a voicemail so these callers have completely disappeared from my life :)

Now - this is important.  Any time a new call comes in from a suspect number, long press and "add to existing contact".  Add the new number to "blocked"

My phone used to ring from these scammers about 4 times per day.  After doing this, I've reduced the number of calls that get through to me to once per week at maximum.  

Here is my list of numbers that I have added to my "blocked" contact so far.  Feel free to start off by adding these numbers to yours for immediate relief from unwanted callers.

I just got a phone call from the, at 9:18 PM, for starters I thought they all have to stop phone calls at 9 pm. It was a recording stating that I can lower the interest rate on my credit card, to take advantage of that offer, I had to dial 1. I did  and I heard some people in the back ground, laughing, talking about someone having an affair on someone, having a ball!!! Should you find out if there is anything that can be done about them, please please let me know and I will be glad to take them to court!

Why bother putting locks on your car, the crooks will just steal it anyway. Get the point? The Do not call list is for honest business'. They don't call you. You can be SURE that if you get a telemarketing call, & you are on the DNC list, it is an illegal call. Hang up. Do not argue with them, do not listen to them, do not call them back, do not ask to be put on a DNC list, because you were called illegally anyway. What makes you think they would honor such a list? Locks for cars & houses cost a few bucks. Think of your phone the same way. Get a call blocking app for a cell phone, device for a land line.

TIred of this nonsense.  What is the use of putting numbers on a DO NOT CALL LIST if they still call?
