Makes sense I just got my phone book and recd this call. They didn't leave a message though.

This does not make it a Legitimate Call when I neither asked for the phone book or the call.  The phone book by the way was a cheap piece of crap from Verizon listing only business numbers.  You don't suppose they were doing it to sell ads do you?  Nah!

Has started calling me but hangs up before answer machine can pick up after the 3rd ring.  If it is someone who has a legitimate reason to call me, why don't they identify themselves and ask that I return the call or leave some other sort of message?  One of the many "hang up" calls I get daily from unidentifyable sources.

They are looking for workers to deliver the phone books!  So if you are unemployed, and need a job....answer the call or call them back!

They also call to see if your phone books were delivered.

this #called today.  didn't answer it.   caller ID says Alternative Posta , whatever the heck that is.  can't find any info online about this#.  i suspect it's some annoying non-stop robo call or assinine call center connected to some assinine something or other in st petersburg florida.  please verizon ,  please please please ---  in all your verizon technological wizardry ...  come up with a way to stop this madness.
